Do NOT even think about putting your kids in this daycare in either the Thornton or the Castle Rock location. The owners are miserable people who have no idea what they're doing. We have had our son here since he was 6 1/2 weeks and had to pull him out at 2 because they were not maintaining safe ratios. Here is a list of the things we saw while we were here.
- Dropping my son off and there being two staff to 21!!!! two year olds. Not just once, but almost every day for a month.
- Letting the front desk know that the ratios are unsafe and need to be corrected and constantly getting excuses.
- The staff begging parents to complain to the owners because they are not getting bathroom or legally required lunch breaks.
- The staff not being able to safely care for children and admitting that to you when you drop them off.
- Having to refuse to drop my son off because it was so unsafe and having to find care for him while staff ratios are resolved.
- Letting ownership know about our concerns and being condescendingly told we "Just need to be patient"
- Ownership admitting in writing that they are only keeping staff until they find replacements for all of them then they plan to fire their staff.
- Ownership admitting that the current staff don't meet safety and education requirements.
- Ownership sending our family to collections for not giving two weeks notice and not letting us know they were sending us to collections even though we were emailing with them regularly.
Do not work here, enroll your child here, or enroll your child in any other facility run by these people. They will be your worst nightmare and I am sick at night thinking that they are still caring for children and a child could get hurt or worse. I have reported them to the state and city and attempted to report them to NAYEC and accreditation boards, but big surprise, they're no longer maintaining accreditation. Do your child a favor and stay as far away as you can. Oh! Here's the link to the KDVR article about how terrible they are!
