Description:
Midwest Opportunities, Inc. (MOI) was incorporated in June, 1992, with the first homes licensed in 1994. The idea of building an Intermediate Care Facility for individuals with developmental disabilities in southwest Iowa was started by a local family with a disabled child. Construction of the homes and administration/ vocational center began in late 1993 and was completed in September of 1994. By spring of 1995, twelve adults had moved into the two Corning homes and eighteen children into the three Creston homes. On May 1, 2000, MOI took over ownership of Hearts and Hugs, a community daycare center in Corning. The daycare moved into MOI's vocational center later that year. On August 1, 2000, MOI purchased a building on Corning's main street and moved their business offices there in 2002.

If I could give this facility 0 zero stars, I would. Your children are not safe here. They are ignored and neglected.
Other than their clothes and bodies being dirty and sticky, the staff will not introduce themselves so you have no idea who is around your children.
This facility is more interested in money and saving face rather than your children.
