Description: Head Start / Early Head Start centers are national child and family development programs for low-income children ages birth to five years old and their families funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The overall goal is to promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families.
