Description: The heart of our pre-k program is a commitment to nature-based learning. We spend a good portion of our day in our "outdoor classroom" woods adjacent to the school, no matter the weather, no matter the time of year. We believe that time in nature provides children with the opportunity to play, explore, problem-solve, and grow, while also helping them develop a sense of place and connection to the outdoors. In addition to our time outside, children engage in many different play-based experiences inside the classroom. We work to meet each individual child's developmental needs and help them progress in their social-emotional, cognitive, and physical learning.
