I have used this day care for the past 2 years for both of my son's and I couldn't be happier with it.The owner and staff have all been great with my kids and actually show the kids that they care about them. My boys love going and have benefitted from their experience. The toddlers do not sleep on the floor they do nap on pads the same as any school. The pads and blankets are provided and washed by the staff. This daycare has been wonderful with my boys.
I had gone to this facility to simply pick up an application, as instructed by the owner over the phone the day before, to put my child in daycare while I was in school myself. When I had walked into the front entrance the strong odor of urine hit me immediately and really strong. It actually made me nauseous, and I'm used to those types of smells and more from being a Nurse's aide. There was loud music coming from the toddler room where they were laying on the floor for nap time. I've had my children in childcare/preschool before and I've never heard them play loud music like that during nap time or any other time at that, it's always been soft lullaby music or a Christian station playing softly in the background (the toddler room is directly to your right as you walked in). I asked the women there for an application and neither were able to find one to give to me. Honestly, I would not have even taken it. I couldn't imagine leaving my child in a place that makes you sick to your stomach from the smell of the facility. I'm not ever one to post "reviews" about anything online, but for me as a mother, this was very concerning and even disturbing that a facility that gave me this experience from simply waking through the front door. I wish more people would do this to help out parents who truly need a professional, clean and respectable childcare facility for their children. And honestly, I wouldn't have given a "star" at all if that was an available rating. This was not to be ugly, it was just an honest experience that I felt should be posted for other parents to know about, and maybe it will raise flags to the owner(s) so they can make improvements.
