I am the owner

Clarification needed: All our "raised monies" from out pizza day is put towards our playground fund and helps pay for new equipment or new programs that are more costly. Children are offered as much pizza they want for $2. We document ALL injuries and tell parents. They sign an Accident and Injury Report. Our yoga, Jam Cats music and special events are included in our program at no extra costs. Last year our raised pizza money afforded us to pay a technology teacher to do a STEM class. If you want soccer class you can do that at a small cost of $100 for 7 weeks. Not every one wants that class so we offer to those only who want it and those who dont go to soccer are engaged in the classrooms with the teachers who provides our curriculum activities. In 6 years I have NEVER charged families for art supplies!!!! Sounds like one of my parents with the negative comments has a lot of misinformation. Wish they could have come to me with their concerns instead of leaving. Wist our website at www.gigglengrow.com and get the FACTS about our school. Wish I could have had a chance to retain the family who left. :(

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

We've used this daycare for years and over time the care has degraded, the owner has begun to "nickel and dime" every cost where other schools have a standard fee.

Our child began to come home with undocumented cuts, scrapes and bruises without explanation and without a single effort for first aid. We understand that children get hurt but it should be documented that an incident occurred and what steps were taken to remedy the situation should that be cleaning and covering of a cut or ice for a bruise. But this never happened.

In regards to cost this is one of the more expensive daycares and the price your given won't include a the myriad of "extras" and "service" fees that make you feel like you're dealing with a cell phone company rather than a childcare business. If you don't want your child sitting in a room alone you'll pay upwards of $200 extra to have them included in activities that are standard in tuition at other similar places.

And imagine finding out that when you pay for a simple "pizza day lunch" the owner has opted to seek profit in this well by charging $2 for a half slice of pizza for pies that are sold to them for $9 per pie! Yes, that means a profit of $22 per pie! Our child came home so hungry that the snacks which were usually still left after the lunch we provided were all gone. On any other day they would come home with 1 or 2 out of snacks still in their lunchbox. On pizza day though this never happened which led us to look into things. We were appalled when we discovered the profit scheme devised for the pizzas every Monday. Charging $2 per half slice for a $9 pie is robbery.

We now attend another daycare and while we do miss the staff that proved competent we know we made the right choice. Incidents are rare but documented and treated in the appropriate manner. The tuition, nearly 1/3 less than Giggle and Grow, covers supplies for art, music, gym and even technology class, language arts and pizza day.

If you want a no hassle daycare where you don't get charged for every little thing and your child won't get hurt inexplicably on a daily basis, avoid Google and Grow. This isn't daycare but a glorified, expensive babysitting service run by profiteers rather than people who want to provide quality childcare.
