Response to Janssr review:
Yes, my hours are 7-4:45 but all of the families I work with make that time work. All of the families but one - the family that left this review was late constantly. Not just 5 minutes late, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour every single day. I tried working with the parents asking them to call me or even text me when they are going to be late, but they never did. I had brought this situation to their attention over and over before I made the decision to let them go. I know this review has had no damage to my reputation seeing as I have a wait list for children to attend my day care. I just wanted other potential families to hear my side of the story.
My child attended Bonnie's daycare for about 1 year and everything seemed to be working out good. The hours 7am-4:45pm are a little difficult. After about 1 year we recieve a call from Bonnie telling us that it is not working out and that our son (1 year old) bit another kid and that we need to find a new daycare provider. This was the first time that he has ever done anything like this and we have never been given any indication that this daycare was not working out. We would ask every day when we would pick him up if he did good and she never told us that anything was wrong prior to calling us and telling us he was being kicked out. I understand that biting is not okay but I think that it could have been handled more appropriatly especially since he is only 1 year old. Her issues should have been braught to our attention earlier so they could have been addressed / corrected instead of leading us to believe that everything was going good. I would only reccommend Bonnie as a last case scenario.
