Driver of van/mini bus OFTEN recklessly double-parks (in the middle of this congestive residential street) while waiting to retrieve (pick-up) children attending Fairfield Court Elementary School. There are always parked cars on both sides of the street along with bi-hourly GRTC transit buses and other vehicles competing to dodge and get around this huge van/mini bus, which thereby is obstructing the flow of traffic. Today I was almost rear-ended as I watched the van/mini bus driver talking on the cell phone and ignoring the commotion. My concern is that there was room whereby the driver could easily park within 50 feet of the building at the curve RATHER THAN remain stopped or double-parked for over 15 minutes in the middle of this extra busy street! There are laws and ordinances applicable and everyone should be able to be SAFE especially in front of an elementary school!!!
I love genesis learning center I was an employer there and I love the kids and the staff if I can change anything differently it would be to go back and become an employer at genesis it was the best daycare i worked at so far
My child goes to this establishment. This day care closes at a drop of a hat for ANY and EVERY holiday known to man!! I thought the whole point of providing a day care service is to be OPEN for the parents when they HAVE to be at work. Individuals in the medical field DO NOT get holidays and need their daycare to be open!! When asked why are they closed EVERY holiday their answer was we are real religious!! WHAT?? What does religion have to do with Presidents Day, Memorial Day, just to name a few!! Most church daycares are not closed as much as this place!! They charge a fortune and when they are closed for a silly holiday and you have to pay someone else to care for your child it's ridiculous! You still have to pay for the full week. My child will be leaving soon going to a church daycare that's rarely EVER closed!! I would not recommend!
My son had been going to genesis for a couple years and their policy, activities, daily routines, rules and teachers changed MORE TIMES than I can count on both hands, my son cannot build a bond with a school if he gets a new teacher every other day due to people quitting that ratchet establishment! My son hated going to daycare everyday and literally cried his eyes out when he new he had to go it was heartbreaking he obviously didn't like anything about the school, I hope i can help someone with this post, they don't do things with the children like fun activities they basically picked a bunch of random people off the street with no experience to be "teachers" so pathetic do your self a favor and find ANY OTHER daycare to put your child into, and if u DONT believe me look up their health code violations on the social service website smh can't believe this place is still open.
