This place is not a place to take your children. I left my three year old there for his first time he ever went to a daycare. He was so excited to finally go to school and he even potty trained himself so he could go. I talked to the director who seemed nice and we started right away he was so excited he didn't hardly say good bye to me. As the days went on he became worse and worse with his anxiety and tantrums. One day he threw the biggest to date tantrum. My mothers intuition told me to wait so I watched where the teacher and my son couldn't see me. As I watched the teacher grabbed his arm and yelled in his face as she yanked him around. I immediately marched into the room and grabbed my son. I walked into the directors office and informed her of the situation and that we were not coming back. Since then I have talked to three other women who had similar experiences.
That experience was a year ago and he now goes to a loving preschool which he never cries and never throws temper tantrums. The teachers are talkative and always tell me about the day he had. It was horrible with the teachers at Gateway they never talked to me and always were scowling. I thought maybe since it was my first experience I thought maybe this was the way it was. Since then I have learned that this is not the case. Please don't take your children here after everything I have heard and experienced it is not a good idea or in the best interest of your children
