We provide child care for ages infant through twelve years. Our programs are child-centered to meet the developmental and educational needs of your child as they grow. The staff of First Start Children's Center (FSCC) feels that children have great value and deserve to explore, play and learn while being treated fairly with dignity and respect. The center provides continuous guidance based on the need of each individual child. We encourage hands-on experiences within a play-centered atmosphere. Let our professionally trained staff take care of your children. Our facility has a firm but gentle approach to discipline. Our goal is to help your child maintain self-control, teaching children that they are responsible for their own actions and behavior. Our methods are based on age and understanding. We will first use redirection and distraction. Continued misbehavior will result in "Time Out". This time is used for the child to get away from the group and regain self-control. At no time will any child in this facility be subjected to physical or emotional punishment, verbal abuse, humiliation or threats. Child care programs stimulate development, creativity, a positive self-image. Our activities and curriculum are engineered to meet your child's growing needs. The best child care for your child with caring providers. We provide nap times. We are DHS Approved. We also have secure self-locking doors for your child's safety. We provide an array of services to help with busy working families. Full day hours, meals, and transportation are some of the featured services available for your convenience.
