Description: First Methodist School was founded in 1960 as an extension of First United Methodist Church's mission and community outreach. It continues to be an integral part of First United Methodist Church, under the leadership of Sharon Thibodeaux, Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries, serving families within and beyond the Church's membership; providing a developmentally appropriate Infant through Pre-Kindergarten Program designed to enhance each individual child's spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth. The school seeks to provide its educational opportunities to an ethnically and economically diverse community.

This school has unprofessional teachers that don't teach or interact with the children. The three year old teachers are the worse. Very rude and disrespectful. Speaking with the Director about issues is a waste of time. They could care less about one person's issues because there's always a waiting list of parents who want their kids in. So they know they will always have a recurring revenue. To sum everything up, look elsewhere, or use this place as a last resort...
