since changing directors, fair park has been a wonderful place to be. the director Kristyn and assistant Courtney have been wonderful and always try their best to meet your needs. they always handle issues and care about your concerns. they care for the children like they are their own and i am very happy with how things are going.
Worst daycare in West Monroe. Do not take your child here. It’s horrible, they are hired young girls with no experience. They cover up their mistakes with lies. The girls who work there are always watching on their phones instead of watching the children. They never know how an accident because they are not watching your child. The director (Nicki Johns) is a complete idiot and should not be working in the childcare field. She grabs little kids and tells them that their parents won’t believe them when she grabs them or yells directly in their face. She gossips about parents and workers there in the office. I have even heard her call an employee a b**** in front a class of young children because that employee had placed their two weeks notice. She is awful to children and workers. She has even encouraged her employees to sleep with parents.
I truly pride myself in trying to bring/see value in everything around me.... but can honestly say that there were several opportunities given to make this right and none of which were acted on by this person. As the mother bear that I am... all motherly instincts have been awakened and if you disrespect my child, you disrespect me.
I have never in my life witnessed someone be so unprofessionally rude to a paying mother. If a child care facility will treat the paying parents with such disrespect, I can only assume how they treat the children.
The lady stating to be the “owner/director” must really be going through something right now that does not allow her to keep her emotions under control. Hopefully my daughter is the only one having to endure the wrath of this woman and I truly pray she finds whatever help she’s needing to fix her anger outburst. I have never encountered anyone that felt the need to call a parent back so they could accuse them of “so rudely hanging up in my face” if it were that big of a deal she could have called back and asked the question of “did the phone get disconnected?” or “did you think I was finished” (sorry Nikki, not everyone says... thank you so much ma’am, have a fabulous day before saying bye and hanging up the phone) it does not by any means mean you were being rude or disrespectful for not doing so. Further more she then continue accusing and belittling versus trying to talk, to understand it might have been miscommunication on her end. I get and fully understand it has been a difficult year for us all, but the phone was on speaker for both conversations. Never once was my daughter rude, ugly nor did she “hang up in anyones face”. Back story: her brother was picking his niece up from daycare for the first time so my daughter called to let the fair park day care know that he would be picking her up so I could treat my daughter to a pre-Valentine mother daughter date night that we were both extremely excited for and in great moods about but you (Nikki) single handedly ruined because she was so upset with your ugly, uncalled for actions that we went home instead. Next time please try and keep in mind that young mothers rarly get breaks and if they can keep their emotions on check.... maybe we all should try it, ok Nikki. ????
