Findings: Without permission of the center's director and against the center's policy, a staff member took upon themselves to take pictures of the children in her classroom and posted them on her personal Facebook page, within a private group. Even though the pictures were within a private group, and were not shareable, they are ways to share, such as screen shots or downloading the pictures and then sharing, and because of that, the staff member compromised the safety of the children in care, since there is true possibility those pictures could be seen by others outside of the private group. | |||

Findings: A child was bitten on 6/29/2021, when the child was picked up at the end of the day, the person picking up the child was not informed of any injuries to the child. The director received a call within the hour the child was picked up and was asked about bite marks on the child's arm, the director, nor any other staff at the center at that time was able to tell the caller what had happened. It wasn't until the following day, late morning (11:30am) that the director was able to informed the caller what had happened. (director was called early in the morning before 7:30am and was not able to tell caller what had happened). The written injury reports were given to the family on 6/30/2021. Discussed with the provider and staff the possibility of using the computer program they have at the center to notify parents of the less serious injuries, notifications would be in real time. |

My son has been in this daycare since the day it opened and for 2 years prior to that (same owner, upgraded to bigger facility). My daughter has been there since the day she started accepting under 2 (beginning of 2018). I would not have my kids anywhere else. They are like family to our kids and every day they can't wait to get there. Love the teachers and atmosphere! They do curriculum for all ages, even babies. They cook all their meals homemade (breakfast, lunch, and snack). They go above and beyond to make sure your child is comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies!
My grand children received care at this center, from this provider, for more than 5 years. Our family has been involved and active with our children and the center at all of the events and activities they provide. Our children have learned so much and were provided a terrific foundation for their elementary school years. The children always felt loved and were well cared for by the owner and staff,
This provided was acquitted or found not guilty of all charges. It was found that the 4th. Grade girl lied because she was mad.
This provided has been in business for over 20 years and has never had any violations. There are cameras in all rooms that record and are available to be viewed as needed.
The staff are professionals who provide a loving environment.
Cannot give it a zero. My friend's child came home with a bruise, and they refused to disclose what happened, refused to give video of room. She removed her child and needed to find alternative placement. It seems to be a pervasive issue to the center regarding a recent arrest https://easternshorebreakingnews.com/arrest-made-in-eastern-shore-early-learning-academy-child-abuse-case/?fbclid=IwAR2OByK81B8zSB_Amfbt7gZaOV92tcYDQcVVGAOT_0zqXDdmbD9TTqUh4kY
