The owner is very unprofessional and rude. She claims to be a Christian but she is very nasty and rude to parents. She also claims to have her doctorate degree. However, it appears she lacks the knowledge in communication, the way germs spread and children’s immune system. There is a high turnover rate and teachers are paid next to nothing. Due to this, I took my child out. It appears some of her staff lack the educational component to teach children.
I am a 4C parent and discovered this childcare through word of mouth. I toured the program and thought it was very nice so I signed my kids up. Kids from age 1 and up are required to wear uniform. A little strange but I went with it anyway. I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. My 3 year old has been in childcare from age 1 to now and I have never experienced the level of issues she has at this childcare. I was told my daughter had delays because she did not speak like other kids in her age bracket, understand her teacher, and act like other 3 year old. My mother had a childcare for 15+ years so I am well aware that each kids develop differently. Hell she wasn't completely potty trained until 3 1/2 because she is going at her own pace. Anyway, her teacher stated she threw a tantrum and they suspended her until I came in for a conference. During that conference the Director had a 3 year old come to her office to show me where my child should be because another kid was so exceptional. Granite my child had listening issues but what toddler doesn't? The second time she threw a tantrum, same teacher, same time of day, same classroom, my child was suspended. They began video taping her actions but video taping her and telling her stop but not in a stern manner. A kid is not going to take that seriously. And during one of her last tantrums she came home with one shoe on. When I asked about her other shoe I was told she (my daughter) threw it away in the trash. Why a TEACHER could not reach in and grab it, I will never understand. The director stated her teacher put in her two weeks because of my child and another, yet after they kicked her out I still saw the teacher every day. When I went to the school to retrieve her belongings I was hearing students say, "Oh I hope you aren't bringing anonymous here today, or we don't want anonymous here today and the teacher just sat there." Of course the woman just sat there and didn't say anything until the third student repeated it. After removing her that left one child, my youngest. She got into an accident where a teacher informed me she was walking and ran into a shelf corner which left a scratch on her forehead. She had to get stitches (3 total). I was not asked to sign an incident report, they did not offer for me to watch the camera. When i asked to watch the video of how she got a cut so deep and the assistant administrator (who seems to never know anything but is under the director) stated only the director could touch the camera and she did not like going into her office when she is not there. I asked again on a alter date but the director again was absent and her office was locked, the assistant stated she can not enter as she does not have a key. By time I had a meeting with the director the video was deleted as it been over a week later. I was told by the director they would contact the tech guy and contact me once the video was available. No one contacted me, and when my mother and I asked about the video I was told they did not have the ability to find it. Fast forward I got my schedule changed to 7 am to 4 pm. I chose that daycare because they say online, paperwork, wall, and with 4C that they open at 630. When inquired about that I was told they do not open that early. It says that time everywhere because that is the time the cafeteria worker gets there and they are not equipped to watch children. Again that made no sense so I stated I would be pulling her out and Friday would be her last day. That Thursday I informed her teacher it will not be her last day as the the daycare I chosen had no availability. That Friday I dropped her off and left around 8:30. I got a phone call around 10:45 from the directors daughter asking If i told the teacher my daughter would be staying. I confirmed and she stated that would not be possible as she already dis enrolled my child and filled her spot. I asked if they got confirmation form 4C that i pulled her out and the directors daughter stated that is information she does not need validated and she been dis enrolled since Wednesday and they were going to provide my $0 balance letter that afternoon. 4C closes early on Friday so I drove around like a mad woman looking for a daycare. I would recommend this daycare to anybody. 1 year olds should not be mandated to wear uniforms. They are still babies who need to be comfortable. That may be ok for some parents but never set well with me.
