We loved sending our son here. The teachers are amazing. Our son was in the infant room but had contact with every teacher in the program. The staff are caring, considerate, loving, and guiding. The staff were always a major source of information. We are first time parents and if we had any questions about our child's development, they were there answering our questions. Every day, they would send home a sheet listing the day's events for our child. We knew exactly what he did. They take the kids outside for walks, they read amazing books, taught them sign language, paint, have the infants interact with each other, and have tons of fun. What I appreciated most is that they really communicated to us how our son was doing. They created this beautiful memory book of our child that we will cherish forever. We were in the process of moving from GR to Kalamazoo and their structure help kept our son supported during this unsettling time. This center is amazing and I always knew my son was in good hands when he was in care there. Thank your Grand Rapids Early Discovery Center, you all are amazing!

About the Provider
The Vision is to base all decisions on the principles of Reggio Emilia, incorporating current research on learning as well as developmentally appropriate practice.
The GREDC was previously the Aquinas College Child Development Center. The program is now managed by an independent secular non-profit organization. We do maintain a healthy partnership with Aquinas to support the learning of students about the unique Reggio approach. Also, while we currently share a facility with New Vintage Bible Church, we are not affiliated in any other way with this organization.
