Hello I received a email from Nidian Conesa who states she is reaching out as part of a onboarding process. While I did work for child parent centers in the past, I have not worked there for a long while and am very happy with my current employer. I did not apply for a position. I’ll attached the email here
Good afternoon LONI,
Welcome to Child-Parent Centers! As you start this new journey with us, you will interact and receive support from many staff. I am another resource for you.
Let me introduce myself; I am Nidiam Conesa, Employee Relations Coordinator. I’ve been with the Agency for 20 years. Most of that time was in the Human Resources area.
I assist staff through workplace issues. I strive for everyone involved to be treated fairly and for concerns to be resolved in a way that works for everyone.
Below are examples of workplace concerns that I have helped staff in the past:
· How to address relationship issues between staff and or supervisor.
· Accusations of abuse of power and bullying.
· Locating and clarifying an Agency policy or procedure.
· Explaining a federal or state guideline.
· Performance questions.
· Questions on how to document.
· Explaining the process of voluntary separations.
· The grievance and appeal process of an involuntary separation.
· What to do when a member of staff is ready to retire.
· Advice on how to raise discussions about harassment or discrimination.
· Offensive or unethical workplace behavior.
· Professional development around communication, listening perspectives, and building and maintaining successful work relationships.
· Venting for problem-solving.
I promote a fair and productive work environment for all CPC staff.
I offer a safe space, off-the-record guidance, and resources to help staff raise concerns. My work is informal and confidential if safety and the law are not violated.
I track trends and collect aggregate data related to staff. I also analyze Exit and New Hire survey data to recommend processes for system changes.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your employment at CPC, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am here to help.
Respectfully,
