Staff lied about my child’s incident. Belittled my child. No toddler should “deserve” to be hurt. The director did not do a full, proper investigation. Owner’s daughter then lawyered up. Horrible\traumatic experience for my child.
The preschool and transition rooms are great. They really strive for kindergarten readiness. The rooms under 3 are not aged appropriately. The children are not moved up to the next stage when they should be. Management does not take teacher recommendations. I recommend this program for children 3 and older. Under 3, be persistent and on top of your child's education. If you are questioning if they should be moved to an upper room, then do it.and ask to see the curriculum.

About the Provider
Thank you for your interest in Duck Pond Day Care! We are a private child care center licensed by the Office of Early Childhood, State of Connecticut. The primary goal of Duck Pond Day Care centers is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that is designed to meet the developmental needs of children. We have part-time and full-time options available for enrollment. Our curriculum will address the cognitive, language, social/emotional growth, creative and physical needs of young children. Our purpose is to create an atmosphere in which children are able to develop a positive self-concept through a balance of teacher-directed and self-directed activities. We will provide opportunities for structured group activities as well as for independent play and quiet time. We are open Monday through Friday, 52 weeks a year, closing on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after and Christmas.
