The Diki Discovery Center is a place where Toddlers and preschoolers engage in discovery of the properties of materials and items in their environment. No one can paint a picture of a house before discovering that paint is wet, that it drips, and that it can be spread with fingers and other tools. They need repeated experiences before they are able to use materials symbolically. For example, one cannot build a train with blocks without an understanding that blocks are hard, solid, can be stacked or might fall over if they are not held steady, At Diki Discovery Center; children have many opportunities to pursue in‐depth investigations of materials around them. Our values reflect our belief that children learn best in a rich environment that focuses on the interweaving of cognitive and creative ways of thinking and learning. Our staff is truly committed to working in partnership with you and your child to provide for the highest quality early childhood experience.
