Provider Response: (Contact the State Licensing Office for more information.) Borough/Facility maintenance took action on the following day to do a full inspection of the fence around the playground area. The triangular connection pieces, like the one in the incident, were all squeezed to a fully closed position, if needed. The wires where the fence was cut were retwisted, tightened, and positioned away from access of the children in the play area. All other aspects of the fence were similarly reviewed. Our playground fence was installed in June of 2022 and is still in excellent condition. Thankfully, this accident did not result in serious injury. The child returned to care on the following day with just a bandage on their hand. |
