Don't work here. All they do is gossip about people behind their back then act like they are your friend to your face. Must be nice others can get invited to things but exclude others if you don't "fit in". If you do talk to someone about your concern they ignore it. They don't care at all. Then if you do put in your notice it's "o let's talk about it". Too little to late to talk about it. The past how many months I've seen people leave like no other yet they wonder why people don't wanna stay. But " o there's money coming in youn don't have to worry about loosing your job". I get that there's money coming in but I don't see people coming in begging for a interview. Pretty soon that place will end put closing because theres not enough staff to look after the kids. But they are in denial. So good luck davis child care center better get your stuff together

I would NEVER send my child to this place based solely on the hypocrisy of their mission statements versus what their Executive director Kelly Zdanovec told me.

After emailing with one staff member about open positions, immediately after finding out my son has Down Syndrome, Kelly Zdanovec then emailed me separately to let me know that there were no openings for him bc he isn't potty trained.

I find myself frustrated and wondering how this day care can say they aren't discriminating against Race, Gender or Disabilities.

Unfortunately their website information is very misleading when one reads that children of all abilities are accepted and not discriminated against; this leads one to believe it is not with such limited parameters and based on decisions of “financial hardship”... as I was told was the case by Kelly.

I must say that I am disappointed in the fact that she had not attempted to find out more in regards to what type of accommodations would be needed, if any, to see if my child would be a fit at their facility. Based on his diagnosis and skill set, he would easily fit into another room with children who also aren’t potty trained. But that seemed to be the one defining issue in Kelly's opinion, from our email exchange.

I find it very concerning that a childcare center who advertises "where little minds grow" is only applicable to children who meet a specific criteria, versus assisting those minds in growing regardless where their developmental abilities are at.
