I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Awful. I've talked to employees that hated working here. You can tell they hate their job. They are mean to the children. They go up in fees, but make your child sit on a floor silently. My children love everyone and cried begging not to go back. They also don't accept responsibility when they make a mistake. If you call with a problem, they tell you to calm down. If you disagree with them, they refuse to discuss. It seems like children are running the place. Very unprofessional. As much as they are charging, I expected much much more.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Cypress Run is without a doubt, the worst facility I've ever interacted with. All because of the staff. Building is nice and rooms are clean, however the staff an owner make this place tough to do business with. I know my personal situation is probably of no concern to them, but due to a last minute job change, the fact my wife and I commute 2 hours every day one-way, I needed to find a good place for my kids that would be close to work.

Cypress Run was the only daycare close to work that had openings for both my 4 year old and 7 month old. Due to the Google Reviews for Cypress Run, I listed my children on a waiting list at another daycare that was close but ultimately had to resort to sending my children to Cypress Run for the time being.

Registration was easy and the emailed me the applications. It was confirmed twice to me over the phone that they opened at 630am and closed at 6pm. This was important to me because I get off at 6pm and could leave a bit early to get my kids. They never got us into the finger-print system either. Get ready to be sure you have a Venmo account cause that's the only way they process card payments.

Day 1 - While dropping off my children the staff was less than attentive to my wife and I. We had no idea where to go or where to put our children's supplies. They acted as if we knew exactly what to do and where to put things. I had to frustratingly ask "so where do I put this and this?" Again, it was confirmed that they close at 6pm. We we're no provided with the handbook/policies either. At the end of the day as I'm on my way to pick up my children, I get a call stating I'm late because they close at 545pm.

Day 5 - We get a call that our 7 month old is running a fever. I checked her when I arrived and it seemed off. They could not state if they had taken her temp right after a nap or not. Typically is higher right after a child wakes up. I went to the nearby pharmacy and purchased a nice in-ear thermometer and her temp did not reflect even a low grade fever.

Day 2 - 14 - Every morning seemed to be a new challenge of where my 4 year old would go because most days the teacher wasn't even there yet. So sometimes he'd go to another room or he'd have to sit in the office and wait. Additionally, the sign in sheet for my 4 year old seemed to be in a new place every day causing me to have to search for it in order to sign him in.

Day 14 - During drop off, my wife was informed that our 4 year old had been sleeping on the floor because we didn't bring a nap mat. That expectation was never set for us and frankly all of our previous daycare facilities provided mats. My wife was frustrated but did not take it out on the worker. Instead as we walked out, she shared her frustrations with me. When I picked up the kids later on, my son wanted to bring his blanket home and I told him "leave your blanket here, otherwise you might forget it at home". A teacher took him to the back and he still came out with his blanket. I restated to him, "i told you to leave it here so you don't forget it."

Moments later after I left, the owner Christi Ganey calls me. As I pick up the phone I hear her restating to someone else that I had said "leave the f**kin blanket here". I clearly corrected her that was incorrect and she began to state that "it seems you and your wife have not been happy here. We are a Christian organization and will not tolerate that sort of language here. Your wife was frustrated this morning and dropped a few f-bombs and we are just not going to tolerate it. Your children cannot come back"

I just hung up on her because I was not going to argue with this ignorance.

Day 15 - When getting our children's things I finally got a copy of the handbook/policies. No where in it does it state that language or frustrations shared with your spouse are reason for dismissal

1. Whatever that worker thought my wife said doesn't matter. It was not directed to the worker, it was a discussion between my wife and I
2. I do not curse at my children over a silly blanket. You misheard and misunderstood
3. I'm offended/amused that the owner had to play the "Christian organization" card. That expectation was never set, its no-where in the handbook. Aside from the religious words that are hanging in the lobby, one may never have an idea that they are a "Christian" organization. Lastly, Christi using that line is lamest thing a "Christian" could say. It projects the idea that you and your organization are above and holier than those that come through the doors of your business. I'm a born-again believer and Music Evangelist that has provided Christian music at hundreds of venues across the Shreveport/Bossier area for the past 12 years. Am I perfect? NOPE! Did I curse at my son over his blanket? NOPE! Does your staff do a below average job at setting expectations and treating parents respectfully? Based on your Google reviews, YES.

So, now, due to there being no other availability around town and the fact we were kicked out unexpectedly, my wife has been forced to quit her job and stay home with our children. Not only have we wasted $980 but now we've lost income from my wife's job.

Maybe the "Christian" thing to do Christi would've been to say "Hey John, its seems you and your wife are frustrated about some things and I want to know how I can help. I understand you're frustrated about this and that, and maybe we did a poor job of setting some expectations about our program."

Christi, had you done that, you may have found out my wife and I are struggling with getting into new careers and are making a commute that requires us to wake up every day at 3am in order to get our children ready and to leave in time to be at your facility by 630am. Only then to work til 6pm, hope I can get out in time to pick up our kids by 545pm, then get my wife, then drive home to be home at 8pm. Just enough time to eat late, rush to bed and do it all over the next day.

I'm in complete shock that a daycare would act like this. It's sad that our last daycare was a state funded daycare and provided way better customer service than this "Christian" organization did. Take some time and read their Google reviews. Its obvious that they do not care about anything other than $$. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Way to go Cypress Run for being the "Christians" that Jesus would want you to be!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Very poor daycare. Unprofessional conduct of staff in handling matters in general. This daycare is under bad management and staff is always changing. High percentage of unqualified staff. Suspect employees are poorly paid and as such attracts employees of certain mindset. Our children are sick on weekly basis with constant trips to the doctor. Also inadequate supervision of children which often resulted in an almost daily injury report.

Strongly recommend picking a different daycare for your child.

Terrible place. I would get it zero starts if I could.
Office staff is horrible. Will act friendly your face. But when you walk out they talk so much cap about you. Owner does not know how to talk to parents at all. Will accuse you of things that you don't have control of. (7 month old pooped while I was driving and changed him as soon as I walk in to him class room. Owner and teachers accused me of not bathing my child).
