Description: Crow Creek is located on the Missouri River 60 miles southeast of Pierre and is inside Buffalo County, South Dakota. The reservation and the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe are organized into three Districts: Big Bend, Crow Creek, and Fort Thompson. Crow Creek Tribal Schools include an elementary school at Fort Thompson and a K-12 boarding and day school approximately 10 miles away. The Tribe leases land to ranching families and operates the Lode Star Casino and Hotel.
