About the Provider
Countryside United Methodist Preschool, Inc., is a dynamic and interactive weekday Christian learning environment designed to engage the minds and spirits of children ages 2 1/2 – 6. The CUMPS program is considered one of the best in northeastern Kansas and has consistently earned a 5-star rating on the Kansas Quality Rating System, the highest rating they award. They are licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and can accommodate up to 160 children in the various morning and afternoon programs. Morning sessions run from 8:45am – 11:20am, and afternoon sessions are from 12:30pm – 3:05pm. CUMPS is committed to accepting all children provided that space is available in the classes.
At the Countryside Preschool, the primary focus is on the safety, development, and welfare of the total child. The program strives to provide an environment which is conducive to physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual development. The play at CUMPS is to stimulate interest and curiosity in God’s world, and curriculum is presented through active, hands-on learning experiences.
