I tried this daycare out since it was close to my house. Don’t send your kids here. The staff’s unprofessional, rude and it looks like you’re walking into a war zone everyday. Kids crying all the time.
One of the times when I picked my kid up I saw kids being sent to throw the trash out to the street by some older lady with glasses. She seems she don’t want to get her hands dirty.
And, the container for the trash is right next to some busy street.
Some dude could just pass by and snatch a kid.
This place is ghetto 100%.
I wouldn’t even let my worst enemy come here.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE!!!!!!
I had to give it a one star to write this review. But, this place doesn't even deserve that!!!!!
My child would come home everyday complaining about his little arms and legs and when I asked him, he replied that Juli would force him to sit down by grabbing his legs and arms while pushing him on the floor. Meanwhile Juli would be yelling at him to sit down and he said mommy she scared me with her big eyes when she yells to sit down and she hurt me with her nails.
THIS PISSES ME OFF !!!! When I questioned about my child's bruises they said HE MUST OF FELL OR YOU POSSIBLY MIGHT OF GRABBED HIM TO HARD !!!! YA SURE TWIST IT AROUND!!!!!
I know how I grab my child and he HAS never had bruises before this daycare...
This daycare is very unprofessional, abusive, so if your children have a huge tantrum before going in think about it twice!!! Or if he or she is just coming home with to many complaints (LISTEN TO THEM) SOMETHING IS GOING ON!!! THIS DAYCARE TRIES TO HIDE ALL THERE ISSUES, Is what I have seen until now.....As Well no curriculum. The children are watching tv all day.
Children don't have access to filtered clean water and are denied to take water outside while playing in these high temp heat days... Is what my kids say
No dinner is served even though the application says dinner is served. My kids say they don't even get a nutritious snack as what they all get is gingersnaps or dry cereal.

I unfortunately checked there state reports after my son had left this daycare and boy was I surprised!!!!!!
My neighbors friend said she had her son in the schooler room a while back and all he could say is that it was a zoo in the class... no structure or respect... the teacher is yelling across the class and doesn't once get up... Children are denied restroom breaks or when requested to go alone to the restroom they are told no... No personal space !!!!!
As well, Unfortunately I was present to several of Diana Lopez (Director) outburst , tantrums, abrupt behaviors... And, if it brought doubt in me the way I observed her handling parent complaints... it would definitely bring fear in the children to see her react this way in a place where my child is away from home and under the care of a total stranger that has different mood swings.
Professionalism, structure and all the above start with the owner and it clearly marks that the owner is abusive... So where do the rest of her employees fall on????.... Can't blame everyone, But I could sure start with the two main heads of this daycare!!!! Julie and Diana
STAND UP FOR THE INNOCENT !!!
I worked for this daycare for 2 months. All I could say is that I was very disappointed, discouraged, and sick to my stomach with everything that was happening at that daycare!!! I mean everything!!! I have been a daycare owner and due to me moving to this state I had to close down. I love working with children and to me the most important thing is... have a set curriculum and safety always comes first... As well as a healthy and nutritious meals....
This daycare lacks all these!!! Especially Safety and Respect as we work for the children not the children for us...
First of all children are being yelled at with disrespectful words and forced against there will to sit down as they are pushed to the ground... The main one that does this is the owner.
No curriculum is in place for the children to learn SO the children do nothing all day.(This place is called Cornerstone Learning Center 2) MMM, SO where does the learning take place? Children are given a few blocks and watching peppa pig or Netflix, to learn from them I guess. The daycare doesn't have any learning material for children to practice on or work with.
I had to bring my own material from home for the children to practice writing, drawing, experimenting, playing doctor/vet/ nurse with.
As well the younger toddlers are restrained to highchairs for most of the day and evening. As older Children are either in the lobby watching tv or in the class with the teachers cell phone on watching cartoons....
I couldn't believe my eyes.... I was so ashamed of calling myself an employee there.
I reported several incidents to the director Diana and owner Julie and I never recall signing off on any of the incident reports...
One of the biggest concerns I reported were that a child was in there daycare van for about 5 min in the beaming heat of 100 + that day... Nothing was done and a few weeks later the director kicked the child from the daycare after I asked her if she had spoken to the father about the incident...The daycare director just responded that she couldn't have him any longer there. (Covering up her tracks or what)?
As well gate that is on the right side of the daycare is always open and when children run out to play in the playground that doesn't have any SHADE... I have observed several children running out. A main street is across from that gate (Belt Line) and if you have drove by there the vehicles passing are not at low speed, they pass by there fairly fast... If a young little child runs out thinking your play chasing him this could end up in a serious tragedy... (LOCK THOSE GATES) as well any one could just walk in from the street to the children's play area!!! (LOCK THOSE GATES)... As well the neighbors have a German Shepard and the dog always crawls through a opening that is under the gate ending up in the daycare playground... So scary!!! The owner doesn't want to spend any money so she just puts a bench in its spot... That dog all it does is pushes the bench to crawl through.
I as well reported to the owner child neglect and abuse. I never signed off on that report either or parents spoken to about the incident.
That report was 6 weeks ago and the abuser was still working for them. The week before I got let go the abuser again had another victim.
I was so overwhelmed with the director and owner to allow all this to continue going on and the attitude they had was I'll just sweep it under the rug and dust the dirt off my hands. (I expected for these issues to be taken promptly and professionally as these are incent children and some can't even speak for them selves) As well children are being left unattended in the classroom as the teacher walks outside to go and gossip with friends, or other parents. (The conversations have nothing to do with the children's progress, ((what progress! If they are not learning nothing)) the conversations are all about personal topics). No other teacher is there to monitor the children as they are always low staffed. (THE DANGER THESE CHILDREN ARE FACING FOR BEING UNATTENDED)!!!
There is a whole lot more going on. But I will end up writing a book if I continue.
A day before I was let go, State Licensing showed up as someone reported the incident of a child getting hurt by the abuser again.
Diana pulled me into the office after Licensing left and said I had a big mouth! And, that she was not prepared for all the questions State had and she proceeded to say (They caught me off guard and I don't like to be caught like this).
I couldn't believe that I was falsely accused of calling state!!! But, I have contacted State now. (I personally wanted to believe that the director and owner were going to be honest and truthfully take care of all the issues going on, but I was mistaken,) I am a mandated reporter and I take that very serious too! As a parent this is horrifying to see your children being left at a place like this. We want the best for our little ones and want them to be happy where they are left. That is why we look for Licensed facilities, that we think have everything under control, professional and are there for our little one's protection. A lot of us have to pay for these services and as well expect it's being done right.
As well the food is always mixed together, never do these children have fresh fruit or fresh veggies. All you see on there plates is the frozen mashed tater totes and no dinner is ever served.
I did apologize to my children for bringing them here as well. The time I worked at Cornerstone 2 my children attended to this daycare for a few weeks. But, after seeing everything that was going on I stopped taking them before I got let go.
If you are planning to have your child attend to this place!!! I recommend you LOOK SOME WHERE ELSE...
Your children will be neglected, mistreated, spoken to like if they are from the hood and abused.
The children as well are not given water when they are outside in the high temp heats so if you have a child here send him with water please!!!!
Best recommendation I could give is look at all information about the daycare including the state website , reviews from different sites.
This is the worst daycare ever!!!!!! From the beginning I knew this was going to be a bad daycare. They were never organized and they were always the last center to update you on anything. None of the teachers nor staff were ever updated on government information such as COVID. Not every teacher was wearing a mask. They are very GHETTO as this daycare and let anyone just walk in. They always complained about one of my kids and let me not forget to say is they hit my son multiple times!!! They basically called my daughter a liar. My kids both gave me the names of the teachers who did it. The director supposedly quit because the teachers were ganging up on her and covering for each other. And then the director told me one of the teachers even walked out on the kids because she didnt like the dress code being enforced. Lets not mention when I called the ex director she told me that she wouldnt doubt the teachers hit my kids and that those teachers had no patience. Oh and lets not forget after I threatened the staff that I was going to licensing they called CPS on me and blamed me and my family. This daycare needs to be shut down its not the first complaint either.
My kids Johnathan and Mallie attends this daycare.My wife choose this center so I went along with it. I'm very glad she did because my kids are very happy there and the staff is very professional and friendly. The center overall is the cleanest I ever been in.(Parent satisfied)

The child safety and security at this facility are lacking.Pretty much anyone can walk in off the street unchecked and wander the building. Poor management. Refusal to follow state and federal employment laws. Refusal to pay their employees in full or on time. High turn over in staff due to these issues. I would give fewer than 1 stars if this were an option.
