I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Unfortunately, our two children are currently attending, however, we have been actively searching for months for another place for our children.

I provided a critical review on this day care and was met with retaliation from the owner, demanding over a phone call to me that the post be removed. I was simply sharing my expectations, and how the academic standards fell far short of how our children were developing.
The owner proceeded to publicly divulge private personal matters online, and made concerted efforts with the other parent in an effort to diminish me, and dismissing my valid concerns. We had an in-person appointment on Friday at the school to discuss further, which I have now cancelled, because of this public demonstration of retribution from the owner himself.

Is this the kind of place you want to entrust your child's development?

The unprofessional manner in which the owner, the director, and the teachers all combined their efforts in order to denigrate me, especially on a public forum, is very concerning: a company was unable to handle criticism, and in turn, publicly shamed me as a parent.
The owner kept boasting of the Frog Street curriculum. The owner was condescending in his remarks towards me, but I am simply underwhelmed by this curriculum and its inability to afford his “team” the material or guidance necessary to adjust to our children’s learning and development needs. While my background is admittedly very limited in this subject matter, I would be more inclined towards the Creative Curriculum (like our daughter’s previous school) or HighScope.
Definitely research your day care options. Texas Health and Human Services provides public records of violations. For example, Coppell Early Care and Education has a number of violations listed including several high risk level violations such as when a caregiver "allowed a child to stay closed in a storage shed".

Again, is this the kind of place you would trust your child?

This owner has a number of locations around the metroplex. Beware!
