About the Provider
Our Precious Creations Child Care LLC is a licensed home child care center that operates a full day program. Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Evening Care: 6:00pm-12:00am and Saturday & Sunday Care 6:00am-12:00am. Our school year begins in August and ends in May. We also offer a summer camp program from June thru August. Some of the Summer Camp activities include arts & crafts, storytellers, picnics, spray park, computer activities and field trips.
The Infant/Toddler program focuses on Social/Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development and Language Development. We also offer Sign Language within the Frog Street Curriculum. Within the Infant program, we provide formula, cereal, diapers/pull-ups and wipes. Parents are responsible for bringing in bottles and/or color-coded sippy cups filled with water.
The Preschool program focus is on providing opportunities for the child to develop in the following areas: independence, social and emotional, cognitive, and physical development. We want to follow the Childs development in those areas in order for them to grow developmentally with their ages and stages of development. Materials are provided that will encourage the child to learn with hands-on activities an addition to we offer Sign Language.
The After School program offers after school activities which promote the health and well being of the child. Activities are designed to encourage children to review homework, daily assignments, develop positive relations with other children and participate in activities that promote self esteem. After school students will have a variety of activities available: reading center, computers, games, arts and crafts, tutoring and a quiet area for studying. Students and Parents are encouraged to participate in developing after school program activities with the Teachers and Staff.
O.P.C.C.C conducts two annual Teacher-Parent Conferences a year to review their child's progress. During the conferences, the parents are able to review their child's portfolio to see their child's progression throughout the year.
Our Precious Creations Child Care LLC uses Frog Street Curriculum. This Curriculum is MSDE Approved.
O.P.C.C.C provides AM snack, lunch and dinner daily, Monday through Sunday. The children will have an opportunity to be involved with some of the meals preparation by picking fruits and vegetables from the greenhouses. Our center also participates with the (CACFP) Child and Adult Care Food Program.
O.P.C.C.C is a licensed home child care facility that is securely gated with video surveillance outside the property. We have a Natural Outdoor Playground and two classrooms, the Infant/Toddler Classroom and Preschool/School-age Classroom.
Staff
Zenia Cooper, Owner/Director, has an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education Certificate, Mastery in Early Childhood Education Certificate, Child Care Management Certificate, Medication Administration Certificate, Level 5 in Child Care Credential, SIDS Certificate, and First Aid, CPR Certified and has worked in the Early Childhood Education Field for 25 years.
