Two Year Old Toddler Playgroup: Two year olds are active explorers of the world around them. Our two-year-old program was developed to foster this curiosity about the world. This is the period where a two year olds developing language emerges and expands through songs and finger plays. Social skills begin to emerge and both fine and gross motor skills are developed. Children will be exposed to positive peer interactions through play, and will enhance their motor skills through classroom games and activities such as painting and playdoh. Children will also explore simple math and science concepts through their play experiences. Class size is 12 students.
Three Year Old Class program: Three year olds begin to seek more interactions with peers and are learning how to be a member of a group. Our classrooms are arranged as centers so that we can provide activities that allow children to explore and play individually, in small groups and also in large groups with and without teacher as facilitator. Our lessons are theme based. Children are introduced to many concepts including numbers, shapes and colors. We expose the children to various science and social studies themes. Class size is 15 students.
