About the Provider

Coalition for Kids has been providing affordable, high quality child care in Grants Pass since 1994. Our mission is to prepare children to be ready to learn in kindergarten by providing developmentally appropriate child care and education in a safe, nurturing environment. Our program is designed to address the whole child. It meets the needs, extends the interests, and provides for individual abilities at each developmental level. We are dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, learn and laugh together. Our teachers help children grow and develop by using patience, love, and understanding – and we instill a strong sense of self-esteem and competence by nurturing each child. This developmentally appropriate approach offers each child the opportunity to:

Develop a positive self-image by learning self-control, handling self-direction, and exploring independence within the guidelines of a safe and loving environment.
Develop intellectually through specifically planned activities that will orient him/her to pre-academic skills in social interaction, reading, math and science.
Develop fine and gross motor skills with daily activities that encourage the use of large and small muscles.

Activities at the center are geared to enrichment; those that will help a child develop socially, emotionally, mentally and physically while permitting them to achieve the independence they need.
Additional Information: Extended Hour Care: Occasional evening
