Great place. Staff is always so nice and extremely helpful. My child loves Mrs. Lynn. Very happy to have found this place and to have peace of mind knowing that my child is taken care of.
Clover Hill Children's Center has been an amazing experience for our kids. They have been with this school off and on throughout the past 5 years and we cant say enough about them. The staff is professional and caring. The facility is clean and the kids love the indoor ball pit. My kids have made friendship here that will hopefully last a lifetime.
Two of my children have attended this facility and they loved it. While there were difficulties with having numerous teachers with one of my children, the daycare did the best they could - how can you blame a facility if a teacher decides to up and quit without warning? They have always been kind and understanding, willing to work with me when I could not make a payment on the day of or if I became stuck in traffic picking up my child. The children are given great art projects and the curricular is great; my children were most definitely ready for Kindergarten. They also did a lot of plays and had picnics with all the families together where everyone brought food - so much fun. It saddens me that there are negative reviews given the fact that I know how hard this daycare works and how much they love the kids they care for.
I had the teacher by the name of Mrs. Lynn tell me to get out of her face when I asked about what my son had done all week long. When they had moved my son into a 3 to 4 year old class when he is 5. They told everyone that the 5 year olds will all be together but my son was still with the 3 to 4 years olds. Please people do your research in look at other reviews. If you want to deal with attitudes from Mrs. Lynn, and when I told the director which told me that some people can deal with kids but not adults when this is the place for you in your child.
Very poorly run day care center, staff seemed nice enough on our tours, each time we went in they had a different teacher in the classroom, one visit they had more children then they said was the teacher to child ratio. I think they had 9 or 10 in there the day we came, they quickly removed 2 children and took them some place else. The teacher was very polite and tried to answer our questions but when she did the children would run wild and misbehave, the asst director did not take over and try to calm the children, she just giggled and made excuses for them due to age. Also during our tour a large group of people arrived that did not attend the center. We where told they come in for play therapy, and are special needs children. I have nothing against special needs children at all, the issues I had was they brought 4 or 5 more children into the room that where not the same age as the children in the room with 5-6 extra adults. My concern is, these are not children that regularly attended here, they really didn't know the parents or anything about them and they where escorted out onto the play ground area where they where lifting and moving the daycare children around into swings and moving them. We toured many times to see if things where different other days and times of the day. In the afternoon they had a different teacher each day we went in, they seemed to be a bit more under control with an older teacher in there and happy listening to a story, we where told she was a floater teacher though and only filled in. They came highly recommended to us so we where very disappointed in what we saw. We found something that we think will suit our children s needs better, with the proper number of staff members and clean rooms.
