Description: The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau is the lead municipal agency that provides positive youth development services to youth ages 6-21. The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau supports generations of youth and families by developing and implementing safe, high quality programs that promote the physical, emotional and social well-being of our city’s young people.
Our mission is to empower, educate and prepare Mount Vernon’s youth and families to make healthy decisions that will lead to eventual self sufficiency and lifelong success. We are committed to ongoing evaluation and community mobilization, which strengthens our efforts as the central resource for the population that we serve.
