Church of the Nativity Community Nursery School

Our Preschool seeks to provide children with an environment that is fun and exciting, and at the same time challenging. We offer a Christian atmosphere of caring and acceptance, and operate by values that are shared with the Church of the Nativity Way of Life, such as forgiveness, acceptance, confidence, empowerment, relationships, reflectiveness, curiosity, compassion, and contentment. Our Preschool program is based on the develpmental approach to education. The children participate in self-motivated learning ghrough active exploration and interaction with children, adults, and learning materials. They will touch, fell, smeel, hear and see during the learning process. The children in our school will be provided with a safe, nurturing, yet challenging environment that allows for their physical, social, emotional, and ocgnitive development. Our staff are screened, trained, and well-supervised in order to ensure the well-being of every child. Our program is designed around a wide variety of materials and activites which allow for individual needs and interests.
