Description: Childrens' Kingdom is a family run private preschool and day care, established in 1998 to service the working parents in the areas of Midwood, Canarsie, Flatbush Avenue, and Flatbush Junction. The primary goal of this facility is to provide a safe, stimulating environment in order to nurture our children's growing minds and prepare them for the future. Our staff is loving, patient, and responsive to children’s needs, providing a warm, inviting atmosphere. Our children learn socialization through explorative play and develop self esteem. We foster emotional, cognitive, and physical development for all students with an emphasis on the individual needs, interests, and strengths with respect to all cultures, race, and gender.
The curriculum is composed of specific themes geared towards teaching language arts, math, science, social studies, music and movement, arts and crafts, and physical education. English and spanish are the two languages used in the classrooms. Since most of the children's learning is based on senses, the classrooms are arranged with different centers such as housekeeping/dramatic play area, block area, manipulative center, writing center, computer center, and sand & water play area.
After graduating from our pre-k program our children will be ready and excited to move on to kindergarten and are better prepared academically for admission to gifted programs. Graduates are always welcome and encouraged to visit and update us on their continuing education. Once enrolled at Children's Kingdom, you are part of the family!
