About the Provider

Child Priority's curriculum offers children the opportunity to use all their senses to explore and engage with materials. Children will experience painting, collage, block building, water-bubbles-sand, cooking, weaving, sewing, bookmaking, woodworking, estimating and math concepts, dinosaurs, volcanoes, researching bugs, spiders, and rain forest animals and hatching butterflies. Combine these activities with the academics of colors, shapes, writing letters, numbers, beginning spelling, rhyming and story-telling and we have created a learning experience they will never forget. As children progress through the Junior class, and then the Preschool class, and finally the Pre-K class, curriculum becomes increasingly more challenging, sparking the curiosity and thinking skills of each child. Nurturing well-rounded children also includes an emphasis on intellectual development such as, building strong communication skills, developing thinking skills and reinforcing problem-solving tools for social success. Kindergarten teachers in Jefferson County remark, "....they always can recognize the kids from Child Priority. They are the most prepared socially, academically and cognitively for their kindergarten class." It is our goal to help children use all their capabilities to learn and understand, not simply memorize.
