Description: Cave City Elementary offers many outstanding programs for all children! Some of those programs are: Before school care beginning at 7 a.m.; after-school care until 5:30 p.m. for children of working parents or parents attending school; after school tutoring; Reading First – We are a Reading First School! This means we are a school that uses a scientifically-based reading program that implements proven methods of instruction in K-3 reading; Literacy Lab in 4th Grade – Literacy Lab is also scientifically based; Technology rich environment; Hands-on activities in Math; Science Labs; Little Dribblers; Pee Wee Basketball & Baseball; Two ABC classrooms for 3 & 4 year olds; Two Headstart classrooms for 3 & 4 year olds; morning/afternoon Caveman Kids Walking Clubs; & nutrition education.
