I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

Seems to use Christianity as a cover.

While your comment is appreciated, you have Bundles Of Joy Family Day Home (BOJFDH) confused with another. Every parent who has toured/interviewed with BOJFDH became a client. We sincerely hope you find something positive & productive to do with your life. Have a blessed day!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I couldn't be more satisfied with the care my baby receives at Bundles. Kierra and her team are above and beyond wonderful. I was nervous about in home daycares due to prior issues with one that was very unkempt, but Kierra is very kind, professional and knowledgeable, and the daycare is warm, cozy and clean. I appreciate how informative and Kierra is and how understanding she is when circumstances arise, and we have had a very hard couple of months at home. She is very direct and by the book, as the wellbeing of all of the babies are of the upmost importance to her.My baby adores the Bundles team and we do too. We get to go to work knowing that our baby is in wonderful hands.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My son has been with Bundles of Joy for almost 6 months, he’s 2. What I appreciate the most about the environment is my son’s personal connection to Kierra. He really began to thrive with her support. I am confident that when I leave my son for the day, he will be safe, loved, encouraged, taught and most importantly fed and clean. She has a genuine passion for the well being of the children she cares for. All my questions/concerns/feedback is heard and discussed immediately, solutions are created as a team.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Kierra is highly unprofessional. My son has attended the home daycare for less than 2 weeks and has already gotten a terrible rash. I may add that he is 5 months old and he NEVER had a rash. On the first day of his care, November 28, when we arrived it was approximately 7:45 a.m. and Ms. Farquharson was still in her robe, with nothing beneath. On December 2, 2022, my sister went to drop off my son at his daycare around 7:35 a.m. When she arrived, Ms. Farqharson told her she was leaving the home daycare to go to Walmart, to which she had my sister take her. December 5, I had let the childcare provider know that my sister would be dropping my son off between the morning of her business hours 6:30- 7 am. December 6, at 6:01 am I text the daycare provider to let her know that my sister would be there at 6:30 when she opened. She did not respond to text or calls made to let her know that they were there . It wasn’t until 7 am when she opened the door letting my sister know that she was still asleep, leaving my sister to be knocking on her door in the cold rain with my son. Two hours after my son is in her care, she text me asking what time did I check him in and then asked me to change the time to a time my son was not there due to her still being asleep. The same day, my son came home with a rash. The next morning, December 7, I asked her about the rash and she stated she knew nothing of it. Later this evening I informed her I would not be taking him the next day, December 8, due to needing to take my son to the doctor because the rash has gotten so bad that my 5 month old son is bleeding. She then told me that she will be terminating service. I advised that it would be okay because I was already looking elsewhere. I would not recommend.

Ms. Hines…while your feedback is appreciated, it is evident that you are upset because of the termination of this child from Bundles Of Joy Family Day Home (BOJFDH). But you have no one to be angry at but yourself. It is nobody’s fault other than your own. I’m quite sure that parents who have even the slightest bit of intelligence & common sense will read through your lies. If your child was in such distress, why was it BOJFDH who terminated the child, and not the parent withdrawing the child from the program? If such unprofessional behavior was exhibited, then why did you continue to bring him? That speaks volumes about you as a Mother, not BOJFDH as the childcare provider. I sincerely hope that you find the help you need to take accountability for your own actions, and not try to blame everyone else for your shortcomings. With that being said, please refrain from spreading falsehoods in an attempt to diminish the character of BOJFDH because of inadequacy, disorganization, and dishonesty on your part . Now that you have attempted to tarnish the image of BOJFDH in this review, it is only right that the response addresses the important issues by stating documented facts. Fact #1–you were never a client here at BOJFDH, your sons father is a participant of the subsidy program via the Department of Social Services through which I contract my services; let the record show, your name is NOWHERE on the contract—only his & the child. This means that your views, thoughts, & opinions are null/void because I did no business with you—only the father. I only communicated with you because he gave me verbal authorization to do so. Fact#2–the childcare schedule requested & approved for this child was Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This means that the child should not have been at my door before that time (without prior notification, approval, and the appropriate fees), nor should he have been picked up after 5:15pm without being charged the appropriate late fee(s) which I did not subject you to due to your many sob stories about hating your job & ”car issues”. Fact#3–services were to begin 11/21 on which you texted me at 8:34am stating, he would not be in attendance due to “car issues”. On the following day at 8:22am, you another sent a text stating he would just “start fresh” on the following Monday (11/28)—he arrived at 7:48am. On this same day, less than two hours later—at 9:44am—you sent a text asking how he was doing, to which I not only responded verbally but also sent you visuals (via pics/video). I then sent you pictures at 10:54am and again at 4:48pm to assure you that he was having a great first day. I received a text from you the following morning (11/29 at 8:38am) stating he would be out again on this day due to car trouble. On 11/30, I was not available to provide services for the child, so I appropriately advised you later that same day (11/29) at 8:08pm. On 12/1, the child arrived at 8:49am without any prior notification regarding his tardiness. On 12/2, he arrived at 8:23am. On 12/5, he arrived at 10:06am—redundantly without prior notification of his tardiness. Each instance could have resulted in refusal of care per it was more than 15 minutes from his scheduled & agreed arrival time & no prior notices were given. On 12/6, the child arrived at 6:57am and because I was not expecting my first child until 7:30am—due to the fact that all of the other responsible parents understand the importance of honesty, punctuality, effective communication, and common courtesy—when I awoke from my sleep to get the child, I was still in my night robe. If my attire was such an issue, then why did you subsequently allow me to care for the child? Let the record show, I gave you more than enough chances. This child came to me two of the five times in a soiled diaper—maybe that would explain the diaper rash. This child was not in the care of BOJFDH long enough for him to develop diaper rash, and I keep very concise diaper change records of which you were initially made aware but never requested to view. It is apparent that you are looking for a person to project your mishaps upon, but BOJFDH should not be the target. Let the record show, I allowed you to FaceTime several times, I sent you multiple pictures & videos. You continuously complained about your job, lied about the baby not liking baby food, and consistently did not adhere to the policies/procedures of BOJFDH. Let the record show, NONE of the babies here at Bundles Of Joy Family Day Home have ever gotten diaper rash, hand/foot/mouth disease, or any other preventable illness while receiving care. Maybe it was the brand of diapers or the fact that they were two sizes too small that caused the rash. Whatever the reason, you’re not going to spread falsehoods regarding the business. Now that this has been address via a single response. Please be advised that any subsequent misinformation & slander will be handled by the company’s attorney. I hope this clears up any issues you’ve had with BOJFDH. Have a nice day!
