I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Love this daycare and all the teachers. They definitely work hard with each individual kid to make sure they are being taken care of.

A very happy MOM! Mar 30, 2021
I have used this provider for more than 6 months

We have been with Bullfrogs and Butterflies II for about a year now…and I will say they are THE BEST daycare in this area-PROMISE. I have friends that have children at other local centers, and we have never experienced the challenges that they have…there is a reason that this facility frequently has a waitlist to attend. Mrs. Angie (the director) and all the teachers and staff are AMAZING! Everyone there is always kind, supportive, respectful, and loving. My son (who is 14 months) lunges for Mrs. Angie or his teachers every day….and each of them treats (and teaches) him as if he is their own. Their facility is always clean! The teachers and staff know what they are doing….and they consistently receive perfect/near perfect inspections from the state (which is no easy feat). They communicate well, work with you with tasks you are working on with your child, and appropriately discipline (with patience and a lot of love). Also, the Director has done very well during COVID, establishing protocols to keep the children and staff safe & healthy during this crazy year. You don’t have to look any further to find the best daycare for your little one(s)….we are beyond happy with our choice for our son!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

For anyone considering care for their child at Bullfrogs and Butterflies, look no further- you WILL NOT be disappointed. The care, patience, love, devotion to God is evident in everything they do. We went for a tour and were very impressed by the facility and the director, we placed our 10 week old son here with the intention of transferring him when we were accepted to a center closer to my commute...well here we are 4 years later...driving an additional 25 minutes round trip each day because the care here is exceptional, and our child adores his teachers. The amazing staff is a direct reflection of the director...she has recruited the loving souls she knows will nurture these children. 4 stars and almost perfect inspections don't happen by chance. To the one upset mommy, I hate that was your perception...to those looking for childcare please do not let the the perceived 15 minute experience of someone whose child does not attend and subsequent 5 minute review detour your consideration for this center

BEST DAYCARE!!! Mar 23, 2021
I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My husband and I are so fortunate to have our son attend such an exceptional daycare!! The teachers and Angie always ensure he is given the best care while we work. It is proven every day through his excitement to go to school. Everyone is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. It is no wonder this day care has been rated one of the best in Harnett County. If anyone is looking for a daycare for their child to attend, you should hands down choose Bullfrogs and Butterflies!

ONE VERY SATISFIED DADDY!!! Mar 22, 2021
I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Being the father of a 2 year old and 9 year old, I am extremely cautious and particular regarding child-care. I want a safe, sanitary environment with teachers/staff that enjoy being around and positively shaping children - which also means the teachers/caregivers require a substantial amount of patience. I drop my youngest off and pick him up almost every day, and at no time have I ever experienced any attitude or class environment that would cause me to second-guess the abilities or emotional constitution of the teachers/staff. They are all extremely professional and kind toward ALL people. Furthermore, they are actively involved in teaching the children how to treat others around them in addition to the necessary growth milestones for developing children. If you are looking for a daycare that takes an interest in your child’s growth and development and will LOVE the children they care for, then you cannot go wrong choosing this daycare.

Finally, the windbag that gave the 1-star review had an unfortunate but misrepresenting experience. It is a shame that some people have nothing better to do than try to leave a damaging review for an establishment that has taken great care to build a positive reputation in the community it serves.

One Upset Mommy!!! Mar 03, 2021
I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

Today I arrived at the center very excited to enroll my two year old. In General courtesy to the North Carolina COVID-19 regulations. I pulled up into the parking lot and googled the facilities Phone number. After three attempts of dialing the number provided online, the number wouldn’t work. So I exited my vehicle, and proceeded to approach the door of the facility. Still respecting the COVID-19 guidelines, I read all posted notices taped to the facilities door. Each document specifically expressed the seriousness of protecting the staff and children. The documents Encouraged all visitors to please wear a mask as well as providing 6 feet distance to prevent the possibility of exposure of the virus to the facility. I even double checked, and very carefully searched each document for written instructions on the Daycare’s policies of new/first time guess and visitors, as I am very respectful. There was nothing else posted. I knocked on the door three times. The staff did not come to the door. With several years of childcare under my belt as well, I figured the door will be locked from the inside. If there was no allowed walk -ins. I turned the doorknob and was surprised that I was able to turn the doorknob and enter. So I thought there would be no issues, if I just barely stepped inside, out of the wind. When I entered, the door “beeped”. I squirted sanitizer into my hands. I could hear two teachers cheerfully encouraging their students to try their tasty treats. So I assumed, it was meal time and the reason for the delayed greeting. While still standing on the daycare’s long entrance doormat. I stretched my neck to peak into the huge glass window to my left. Inside that room, there was an elderly women sitting in a rocking chair spoon feeding a infant. While the owner stood in the same room, typing on her phone. She typed for a lengthy amount of time. I began to say “hello..” and “excuse me” several times. Even waved my hands, Still no answer. I stood at the door for 15 minutes patiently waiting for someone to notice me. (As I carefully/nervously sanitized my hands with the sanitizer again, provided at the door). Then FINALLY, as young lady noticed me and tapped the window to notify the owner of my arrival. The owner looked in my direction and immediately became very upset. She STORMED out of the nursery and around the corner into my direction. Shouting at me “YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN MY BUILDING!!!!” I replied “excuse me???” She repeated herself in RAGE! I calmly explained “I only came to request an application for admission” . The owner forcefully demanded I “go back outside and speak through the door” . At this point I was explaining to her that I had made attempts to call the daycare’s number posted online several times. I also explained my attempts to wave my hands and arms in attempts to capture her attention but she was to busy texting. She interrupted me ... “I WASN’T TEXTING, BUT MAKING A GROCERY LIST”. Her focus was in her phone and not on those babies the entire time I watched. I explained that I had been standing in the same spot for several minutes. She said “DID YOU KNOCK?” I replied “yes mam, I even have tried calling from my car several times”. Instead of her giving me the direct number, she asked what number I dialed. I began to pull up my call log. But then realized... this lady is not being respectful of me, my offer of a business opportunity, and she was aggressively speaking to me in a very disrespectful manner, even after all my attempts to show respect. This is the beginning, the first encounters are golden. And was unsure if she was fit to provide respectful care to my children. Due to the disrespect shown to me. So I wondered, is this how communication works here?? I politely said thank you and have a wonderful day and walked away. At that point she rolled her eyes slam the door behind me, and I heard the door lock. I have never been treated with such disrespect from someone who I wish to care for my children. I will only give this facility one star because before this encounter with THE OWNER, I heard the wonderful teacher’s interaction with the children through the walls. I do hope she was just having a bad day. But I don’t see myself doing business with this facility ever ever ever in the future!!!!
