About the Provider

Bright Eyes provides care for children aged 6 weeks through 5 years. All programs at Bright Eyes are appropriate for the developmental level of the child. All programs include opportunities for outdoor play, quiet reading time, arts, and crafts, games, music and dance, and free play.

Infants, Toddlers, and Two Year-Old Program

Our infant, toddler and two year old programs follow the Creative Curriculum. Our teachers are committed to making your child feel welcome and motivated to learn new things. Our teachers make their own lesson plans that are approved by the

director to ensure that the teachings are appropriate per age group. The children

follow the same daily routine each day to help the children understand repetition.

The children in these classrooms will do circle time, story time, arts and crafts, sign

language and so much more. You're probably thinking, all this with infants too? Yes, we feel that this helps the children with social and cognitive skills to be included in each activity. All children get to go outside on weather permitting days and when the weather is not so nice, our teachers plan activities to do indoors to keep the children motivated and active.

Preschool Program

Our preschool program follows ‘The Investigators Club’ curriculum, which is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as are most of our centers. This curriculum teaches a whole array of skills and vital information that is pertinent for your child to know when they go to Kindergarten. The lesson plans are created by the program for the teachers to ensure that all the information necessary to learn is included. The children are

assessed throughout the year on the things they have learned and the things that

they need a little help on as well as ways to challenge what they have learned. The

children are then placed in learning based groups of no more than three or four

children, to work with the teacher on concepts and skills.
