I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My child has been attending this daycare for a few months. We both love it. My child was attached to his pacifier, milk bottle, and mom and dad. After their first week, the were excited to go to school. They have come home clapping, trying to walk more, and eating 10x better. They care...some of these reviews are 9 years old...I would tour yourself to make a decision. My child refused to eat at home and fed the dog most of the time...refused to eat anything I made. Bright Beginnings taught them how to eat during mealtimes and has my child on a schedules. They also do snowballs and ice cream during the week those are just few activities they outside source. Petting zoos, Water Day, Jojo the Clown...my child has thrived here. Not just anyone can come pick up your child...they have lists of who is allowed...most families have the main drop offs. They also have locks and alarms...you can't just walk in and grab a kid. There are alarm codes on the doors, you can't even see the kids on the main street due to 2 fences purposefully built to keep privacy. It is a small daycare, no more than 50 children. The front desk knows every child's name and parents or guardians. They recently fixed up the playground and I saw painters painting the inside murals during after care (all the children were upstairs). I have not come across an unhappy child coming in or out of Bright Beginnings. My child adjusted after one week...I was prepared for them to take a month. Ms. Tiffany's food will make your child eat...even their vegetables! I highly implore anyone to check for yourselves. We love this place.

My child is going to Kindergarten this year she knows all her letters, numbers and she knows how to write her first and last name. Thank you to all the staff and Ms. Lakeitha for helping her get prepared for Kindergarten.

This daycare is not bad at all. I can't see how people can past judgement on daycares from what they read online. One lady said she smelled urine coming from the bathrooms but what are u suppose to smell. You can smell urine in walmart bathrooms but it won't stop u from shopping there. At the time of her tour maybe a child or 2 just came out the restroom. Bright beginning has a staff that teaches and cares deeply for your kids. No daycare is perfect I guarantee all daycares will have at least one or 2 bad reviews. So before people pass judgement on a business they should take the time to go back and check out the business again because remember people sometimes we all make a bad first impression.

This child care should be closed down , The kids want water and there's no cups , They give breakfast at 9,30 then lunch is at 11.00 , to close ,They cant keep teachers there because when its time to get paid they say oh not today and your told this 1 hour before you get off , have to wait till Monday when you get paid on Fridays , or if you get a check its no good , so who would want to work there. no fire drills no one in the office anyone can just walk in . Not a SAFE PLACE FOR YOUR CHILD , I WOULD NOT PUT A CHILG THERE EVER . hope this helps someone out there ,

In my opinion Bright Beginnings daycare is one of the worst daycares I have visited so far in the search for my young daughter . I have heard many negative things about this center, and feel parents should know other parents opinions.
FIRST-ENVIRONMENT, I stood at the front desk for 5 minutes or more without being Noticed, which strikes fear as a parent. At any point someone could walk in the daycare and slip in without anyone noticing them, which is not safe for the children or the staff. No one was present in the office at the time I arrived, and from my understanding this happens a majority of the time. The director of the daycare was very cold when she finally approached me at the desk. I told her I would like information on the daycare and she took me for a tour around the building.
The first place we walked into was the cafeteria, I was sickened by the mess on the floor. (No Children Were eating, I feel this should have been cleaned Bactria can form very fast)
SECOND- toured the baby-toddler rooms. I must say the Staff that I was introduced to in the youngest baby rooms were very warm and kind and willing to answer questions that I had for them, Although I felt rushed by the director like I should not have been talking to the staff. I noticed as I toured the baby/toddler rooms that some floors tiles were broken, and paint was chipped off of the walls in the rooms, easy for children to put these pieces in their mouth. As I passed the children's restroom in the baby/toddler area the smell of urine was overwhelming. I am not sure if diapers are thrown in the bathroom trash or if the smell was from toilets not being flushed. I also noticed no place for the children to dry their hands after using the restroom. THIRD- I went up the stairs to tour the bigger kids classrooms, Again the staff was very welcoming and kind but I felt rushed and not able to ask questions. Again I saw broken tiles inside the classrooms, easy chocking. The bathrooms also had a strong urine order as I walked passed both the little boys and little girls restroom. I am not sure why the urine smell was so strong, you could smell it by just walking by not being in the restroom.
Concern; As I saw the classroom It seemed as though there were to many children only being watched by one teacher, it seems that that could be overwhelming for staff and children by not being properly watched with the amount of children to only one adult.
As we were walking outside I noticed how easy it would be for a child to open the door from upstairs to go outside alone. (no childproof locks of any kind by the door leading outside) While I was observing the outside the toys seemed to be very old/broken and unsafe for the children. Many of the toys were broken and being misused by children whom were playing outside at the time, although the children had an adult present I noticed a child climbing the wrong way on the playground set and the teacher was not aware of this as it was happening.
I think this daycare could improve with comment cards on how a parent felt the tour went. I also noticed as I Researched the violations on the public Website of the daycare that their have been many problems seen before.
I think with work and the director or owner reading comments that this daycare could benefit and become better but I am not choosing to send my daughter to this daycare. I thin kit is very important as parents to do research and tour the Facility before making a decision on a daycare.
Thank you for your time in reading it, I hope this helps another parent.
