Best Preschool program in Crete - provided by the Elementary School, so they enter Kindergarten with the skills expected and don't need to "test" for placement. AND the ONLY place in Crete with Preschool and daycare in the same building (all preschools in Crete are 1/2 day - 2013). HOWEVER - if you're not "Even Start Program, Special Needs preschool, and migrant education," registration and placement is a NIGHTMARE! Since members of those 3 programs get placed before the people that are willing to pay for it. The clerical staff that deals with registration is nice, but they don't seem very organized. If you need to KNOW that your child is enrolled in advance, you have to check with them a lot to get an answer.
