This is by far the worst childcare facility my son has ever been to. The facility is never clean. Every morning before I drop my son off I go into the restroom and check to see if it's clean. It's never clean. Maybe once out of the week someone half cleans it. The facility never smells clean.. I've gotten so tired of telling them the restroom aren't clean. I've even reported this facility for multiple things.
The rooms the kids are in are just as dirty. The rugs are old and need replacing. My son's blanket had been being sprayed with cleaning solution for over a week. Blanket smelt deeply like cleaning solution everyday within that timeframe. I asked his teacher about it and she said she doesn't spray the blankets with cleaning solution but she spray in the area and it probably migrated to the blankets. My sons face stayed broken out the entire time and wouldn't clear up. The blanket finally stopped being spray and his face cleared right up. The tables in the room never appear to be clean but food is always placed on the table and not on a plate. Only things like applesauce and fruit will go in a bowl but something like a biscuit will be placed on the dirty table. I never see any books in any class so how do they do storyline? The ratios are off. The teachers are rude and rolling eyes if you're telling them something that you didn't prefer when it comes to your child or even asking questions that they don't like. I can't find another childcare soon enough.
If only I could give this facility a 0 star rating I would. I am a former employee from this so called facility. I cannot explain just how dirty this facility is, filthy toys, unorganized classrooms and a high ratio per classroom.
If I had a child I would never put them in this horrible place. Children do whatever they want, the so called director Shannon has no idea what's she's doing. Children get away with everything. They serve food without using gloves, teachers are very rude, you can smell just how dirty the classrooms are. It's a nightmare for any parent or educator. I'm surprised how State still has this facility open knowing just how bad it is. The discipline in this school is unacceptable. Also the thing that caught my eye the most is that they use wax paper on the changing table for diaper change and that they're always out of ratio. Many employees that I've met have said that many teachers have quit do to the lack of professionalism from their so called director Shannon, who has no idea what day it is. I have no idea how she can be a director, she's rude and just plain incompetent. Stay away from this school!
I had such a terrible experience terrifying!!!!!!I had dropped my little girl off in the morning to find it looked as the Orange on the children's breakfast had mold or bad spits all over them. I pointed it out to the lady in charge of the room so as I was telling her the lady that worked with there food walks in I told her what was going on. I work third shift so when I woke up my husband had already picked my daughter he was saying how she was crying begin him to persuade me not to report it! When I returned the next morning to drop my child off the next morning the woman approached me trying to talk I told her it wasn't that big of a deal today was a new day I didn't want to be bothered or talk about! She would not stop following out the door and I finally had to get rude look leave me alone and then one of her two co workers came out cussing me out telling me to get my child and leave I asked to speak to the director and she wasn't available.So I decided to call another office to get someone to talk to as I was going outside to make the call one the girls threatened to do harm to me I want use the words she said but it was awful so I went outside made the call told the other facility what was going on so she said she was going to come meet me.I didn't feel like my daughter was safe so I went back in to get her as I was walking out the door with her the girl was outside where the gate was threatening to hit me and I was holding my child she ran at me and the other people grabbed her so I just called the police when they got there all three girls told the police I swung at her mashed another person in the face and some other things lied on me and made me look like the aggressor 3 against me smh I was blowed away!!!! And these people are watching children please please for your kids and your own sake stay away from this place
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is terrible. I chose it because they offered a discount with my job but now I know better. The people at this place are extremely rude. Of course when I went to visit they were nice, then as soon as I paid that first week the real personalities came out. There were a few different days when I came to drop my daughter off and nobody even acknowledged we were there. They would be too busy gossiping to pay attention. 2 days in a row we picked her up with a dirty diaper which was obvious as soon as you walked in the room. We were told 3 separate times she didn't have clothes there when she did, they are so unorganized they didn't know where they were. She stayed sick the whole 6 weeks she was there and of course I was responsible for paying for 2 weeks she was never there. Yet they very rudely questioned my family when my daughter had a runny nose and eyes from allergies. Obviously this place is not very clean, I never once saw anyone doing any type of cleaning. another complaint I have is with the so called manager shannon. This woman has no personality and is extremely rude I can only imagine how she is with the kids. She also will try to rip you off on cost. I had a discount with my job and 3 out of 6 weeks she still charged my card full price then when asked about it she got an attitude and would take it off the next week, then would do it again. She also told me I had to pay a $50 registration fee to reserve my daughter's spot, then I went online to where you can pay and see free registration for my company. I went up there and asked her about it and she did take the $50 off the next week tuition but wasn't happy about it and it was obvious if I hadn't seen that she would have never told me registration was free. Also in the time she was there she never came home with any drawings or anything she had done during the day like you would at any other daycare. a big complaint would be their lack of security, anyone can walk in this building if you have a key and i am sure many people do. There is very rarely someone up front to see who is coming in. When I made my decision to pull my daughter out of here I forgot to give back one key because my mom had one. Shannon knew we had 2 keys. She never asked for it and never called looking for it and about a week later I brought the key back and of course was treated like garbage again by this woman. But that situation made me wonder how many people are no longer enrolled in this place and still have keys. In regards to that same complaint shannon told me she couldn't give me my key deposit back and I would get a check in the mail. Here it is 3 weeks later and no check so I am sure thaT was another lie. also every complaint on this was told to Shannon and she acted like it was no big deal.
