Description: Established in 1948, Bayshore Co-op Preschool is a non-profit, parent participation preschool that allows parents a unique opportunity to share in their child’s first educational experience. Owned and operated by the parents, our school stresses the importance of family in the preschool program. Under the direction of a caring and professional teacher, Corinna Gist, Bayshore Co-op Preschool integrates the comfort and security of home-based play with more traditional preschool experiences. Most of our school day is spent outdoors, next to the beautiful bay. Our children enjoy constant fresh air and refreshing ocean breezes against a magnificent backdrop filled with sand, water, seagulls, and the occasional boat sailing past.
