Description: California State Preschool Programs are funded through the State of California in cooperation with the ABC Unified School District. Programs are designed to meet the needs of preschool children ages three years to four years (by October 2nd of the current year) from low-income families as well as children with diagnosed disabilities that meet income requirements. In an effort to provide high quality preschool programs the California Department of Education and the Office of Child Development establish the guidelines for service eligibility.
