I had my child with our school systems child care and preschool. I found that the school systems program is of poor quality. Not organized and I have to pay extra for preschool. Teachers are not teaching best practice. If our public schools want to give children the right start they are going to have to truly reflect on what kind of quality they are offering in the early years. Look at Stapanski in Waterford or Walled Lake's early childhood program. Much better than Huron Valley Schools.
