Eastern Plains Head Start (EPHS) serves 6 communities throughout Eastern New Mexico. Its administrative offices are located in Tucumcari. EPHS offers Head Start in 6 communities, serving a total of 329 3-year-old and 4-year-old children. EPHS offers Early Head Start (EHS) services to a total of 102 children in Clovis, Portales, and Tucumcari. EHS provides services to babies and toddlers from ages 6 weeks to 3 years. It also works with expectant mothers.
