I have been blessed to have multiple children at this daycare on my caseload over the last two years. Having the oppurtunity to interact and collaborate with a caregiver with her desire to provide growth in children is very rare. The family environment in this center in nothing short of amazing.
After spending years of being afraid to put my children in daycare, I am so glad that I found this center. From the very first day that I placed my children under her care, I knew that I made the right decision. The owner is a devoted Christian woman who is kind, caring and trustworthy. You can just tell that she has the heart for her line of work and also that she enjoys what she does. Besides my children loving her, the thing I like the most about this center is that she also educates the children on both life and school skills. My son entered her center being so far behind the children in his elementary school's class. Now with the help of her teaching him while he is in her care before and after school, he is now one of the smartest kids in his class. His teacher stated that he is now above his grade level. I highly recommend this center for all who desires a good home based daycare facility.
Our son attended this academy for 2 years and we did not have any issues. From my perception the teaching style is cross-curriculum. Our son seemed to love the creative approach to learning (always shared what he learned each day). We like the fact that he was definitely being taught and the environment was clean/safe.
This facility has a wonderful provider that keeps both of my children on the right path. She encourages my children to learn in school and they are always well fed and clean when I pick them up. She has the best outings and I enjoy hearing my children tell me about their daily activities with her. I would and have recommend this facility for great academic structure, calm and inviting play space, and responsible and reliable teachers. Your children and you will love this wonderful place!
I am happy I found this facility! It is am amazing environment for my children. There was a situation at Honeycutt elementary where the owner of Alpha Omega Day Academy was given the wrong information about how to go the right direction in the right area. Instead of the teachers and parents acting professional they were yelling and cursing at her with no regards to what may have happened in the result of her wrong turn, yet she was trying to explain what was going on and how she didn’t get the right information from staff she was still bombarded by insults and blatant disrespect. I was shocked and horrified by the actions at Honeycutt Elemetary staff and how they treated a woman I know to be a wonderful person. She deserves twenty stars for keeping her professional amongst monsters. As a parent with a child at Honeycutt elementary I would be more aware of the prejudice and racism that some of the faculty’s had shown that day.
This facility is amazing! Not only is the owner and workers delightful but they take time to train the children in education for all ages and potty train as well. It is a wonderful facility and I am greatful for Alpha Omega Day Academy.
My great grandson was enrolled in Alpha Omega Academy just before he turned 2 years old. He attended until he was five years old, almost 6. He is now enrolled in public school and his educational background with this facility qualified him to be accepted in the Discovery program, which is the equivalent of AIG in the higher grades. He wishes he could have remained with Alpha omega. I am so very glad my great grandson had the privilege of attending this fine institution and the teacher loves the children and they certainly love her.
Having had my granddaughter there when she comes in the summer, as well as volunteering there for over 4 yrs, nothing but great experiences...the owner is great with the families, and has wonderful curriculum...
My son has been going to this facility since he was 12 months old, and he is now 7 years old. He STILL attends this daycare, and when he started Kindergarten last year he was above grade level. The owner of this childcare facility is very hands on and treats every child as if they were her own. There were always incident reports written whenever anything happened with the children, and I know that first hand. There is a very strict behavior/keeping all hands to self policy within this facility, which is why certain kids were put out. Because of their bad behavior and lack of home-training, which is also where the incident reports played a vital role. There is a paper trail for everything which keeps the parent to teacher communication very open. I would recommend this daycare for any parent/parents who are seeking top quality child care, while learning state required curriculum as well as being in a safe, clean, and professional environment. Well behaved, respectful children are always good a fit for this establishment.
I witnessed the manager of this location driving an after school van to Honeycutt Elementary in a “one way” going the WRONG direction & blocking ALL of the thru traffic because she refused to move. Then, she proceeded to call one of the teachers a racist because she simply asked her to back up & go the correct direction. Don’t trust this type of person with your children. Not only is she a dangerous driver, but she’s an entitled individual that believes she’s right & EVERYONE else is wrong.
Initially, I liked this center and over time various issues with my child safety became an issue. Also, she never provided incident reports she just mentioned when the child had an issue. She is greedy for money and finds something ever other week to collect additional funds from the parents.
