Description: Established in 1991, ASP currently provides after school services for over 10,000 children in more than 70 Florida schools. ASP offers academic and recreational programs for children before and after school. In addition, ASP offers special programs for early-release and no-school days as well as programs for the summer. Providing our programs in a safe and engaging environment is ASP’s highest priority. We work in partnership with each community, school, and family to design the program that meets their specific needs. We draw upon the most effective academic enrichment, physical fitness, nutritional and life skill programs to challenge children and make learning fun. We provide a healthy snack. And, we employ an experienced leadership team of former school district personnel to supervise each program. ASP is awarded millions of dollars in grant funding each year, enabling us to provide funded services to thousands of children. Our Sliding Scale Fee Structure allows the maximum number of children to participate in our programs.

It’s too bad there is not a 0 star rating. If you’re looking for an after school program that will nurture your child’s academic progress, look somewhere else. Their “mandatory homework” program is a complete insult to the parents who are under the notion that their children are being provided supervision and ensure homework completion. It is rather sad that the teacher that is supposed to help with homework is so unreliable. Otherwise, the rest of the staff is very pleasant.
