I worked here for about a year. I only worked there that long because i needed a job. I hated being in that place. Half of the classrooms dont have doors and the children just walk in and out and roam the building. "bad" kids are left alone in the front office all the time. other teachers are always on their phones. Teachers dont teach the kids. tammy the owner hires anyone she can get who will accept the $8 or $8.25 hourly rate. She wont pay for a over the stove range so dss says she cant use the stove so everything is cooked in a crock pot, microwave, or the oven. food is nasty and she doesnt give them enough. she is so cheap. She buys gallons of whole milk and splits them up into 2 gallons and adds water to make 1 gallon into 2. She doesnt follow dss rules and she always has too many kids per classroom. also, kids get left outside on the playground because teachers dont pay attention. I finally quit because i got a new job.
Director is unprofessional and uneducated. Children are left unattended and in rooms that are over ratio. Facility isn't cleaned daily. School does not stick to all dss policies. Lunches are all frozen pre packaged items that are junk food. They never get anything fresh like fresh fruits or fresh veggies. Everything is out of a can. Teachers AND director yell and scream and verbally abuse and bully children. Children are made to sit and watch tv for atleast 3 hours a day and are forced to keep quiet and have extremely long naps of atleast 3+ hours. Never send a child here.
This place is horrible not clean and smells very badly. Toured the building and the baby room they had snot pouring out there nose. The room smelled like pee and like mold with nasty carpet. The owner she does not look professional at all and teachers half of them stay on there phone more than anything. When I left sat in the car kids outside teachers on phones not paying attention to nothing. I went around lunch time and what they was eating i have no clue but looked aweful the kids looked at it and one child was crying and i heard a teacher say you better eat you aren't getting nothing else. So would i have my son there no absolutely not and would i prefer someone i would not. That place really needs some work cause something is not right about that daycare.
This place is not a place to put a child. Food is freezer leftover half the time. Pay 120 a week and kids eat sandwiches and canned ravioli with hard frozen bread. Clean is not up to par it smells like poop when u walk in the door. Owners desk and area looks gross she must save everything. Had a innocent where a child fell off handle bars on his head she never called parents and the child went to sleep. This place I would never refer someone it went down when Beverly left.
