I am a delivery person that did a delivery to this facility in pevely and I have to say I was truly shocked that a child answered the door with no adult anywhere in view. As a parent I find this totally unacceptable!!! Why was this allowed?? It's more than just irresponsible and if my child was there I would definitely consider pulling them immediately. It doesn't seem like a safe environment at all.
Please ignore this lady, Katherine Sellers, review. This is a completely new daycare. New ownership and new workers. Before you believe what this crazy lady says, please look her up on Case Net. Then make a decision for yourself. ABC Kids has been nothing but fantastic!
This is a message for Kat Sellers. My name is Jamie Ayers and I am the owner of ABC Kids Learning Center. I have been here since May 2020. I am not affiliated with the previous owner or daycare practices. I would greatly appreciate it if you would please take down your review because that is not about my center. I am actually a former employee of this ridiculous establishment and I put my full name on this so they know its me. The ratio of children to staff member is illegal according to the state. They've changed their name once at least that I know of because it had this issue before. They hire anyone, even a girl who hates kids and is very obvious about it. He was learning disabled clearly and he wouldn't do what she wanted so she yanked on him so hard that I thought she pulled his arm out of socket. She even quit multiple times and they knew what a bitch she was to these children BUT she had 2 kids of her own and they just saw dollar signs. So she always gets her job back with the 2 to 3/4 yrs olds.
she was awful to the other children and had multiple parents complain on her. She made me sick. All the staff did was gossip about each other and shush the kids because they didn't want to be bothered. Is very obvious they were only there for a paycheck. They were understaffed by at least three employees and they kept taking new clients in,
that's why I left. Do not enroll your child in this program because in the morning they feed them a pathetic breakfast then the employee comes in and half ass read a story to them and tries to do a craft with them and then they send the children outside to play in this god-awful heat and if a child ask too many times to come inside to get a drink of water they get scolded for it. This place is a joke, most of the staff doesn't like kids so your kids are not receiving the treatment that you think they are and they are leaving your kids outside in this heat at least 3 to 4 hours a day. So if you want to waste your money then go ahead and send them to ABC Kids Learning because they won't learn crap there except how to be mistreated. Oh they a little lunch and they better take their 2 hour naps. I love kids and my kids loved me but I couldn't be affiliated with such disgrace. Oh and I'm Katherine Sellers. I want them to know I did their 1st review. I'm shocked this is the 1st.I can't their still open under their 2nd name. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, DIES TEACH YOUR KIDS ANYTHING, MOST OF THE STAFF CAN'T STAND YOUR KIDS, SORRY BUT I LISTENED TO IT EVERY DAY, THEY LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE FOR HOURS, OR MAKE THEM SLEEP FOR 2 HOUTS OR PUT IN A MOVIE TO KEEP THEM QUIET. Don't take your kids here, it's worse than a St. Louis City Daycare and that's where I'm from. You've been warned and to the staff at ABC, Someone needed to out you guys but you got them girls there thinking you're their friend. Steph, I remember a lot of what you about those girls who busted their asses while you sat on your ass BITCH! I intend to get you guys shut down.
