A.A.I.M.S. Montessori School - Suwanee GA Child Care Learning Center

When we first visited the school, we met a smiling and laughing woman drying off after she had gotten sprayed while washing freshly picked fruit with the students. This kind and playful staff member turned out to be the Director of the school! What a refreshing first impression!
I am writing this review to share my overwhelming gratitude for everything the owner, administrators, teachers, and other staff are doing for our son, as well as the rest of the children—as well as to highlight the incredible impact this school has made in our lives. While our (3-year-old) son has only been with AAIMS Montessori for a little over one month, I have noticed several significant differences in his demeanor and abilities.
Our freshly 3-year-old son comes home each day and sings us multiple songs he learned in school! He tells us about working in his “journal book” and we get to see photos and videos of the activities he participates in! He is more confident in his own abilities and is requesting less assistance with manageable tasks. His creativity has really increased in play and while doing arts and crafts. This past weekend, he got a yoga mat out to represent a jet runway, then rolled it back up and put it away. I honestly don’t think that clean-up or managing his space would have been on his radar before going to this school! He was so proud that he could clean it up himself and is starting to explore more independence.
He also loves to go to school every day. Our older child struggled intensely with going to school, even though her time there was only 2.5 hours per day. We expected some resistance to this change, since he has never been in childcare outside of our home and has never been left with people he wasn’t already very familiar with—but he has never showed even a glimpse of difficult feelings during this major transition! Our son has never hesitated or expressed anything but positivity about going to AAIMS Montessori. To me, this is huge. It is a testament to the environment they have created.

Since August 2019 ,my oldest kid studying in AAIMS school till now, she is so happy and learn lots of things from AAIMS school. I am so happy to choose the great school for my kid.

I am a school teacher and a pretty tough judge of schools for my children.
This is my second year with children at AAIMS. I have a child in the primary class and a child in the elementary class. The director and staff are 100% committed to loving the children, keeping them safe, and providing a stimulating learning environment. The rules and procedures in place keep the school organized, safe, and centered around student learning. During the month of August I walked the downstairs hall daily to pick up my younger child. In each classroom the children were actively engaged with learning activities on his/her rug, at a table, or in circle time. The children were well-behaved and clearly understood the expectations of their classroom. Both of my children have THRIVED at this school because they feel safe, cared for, and stimulated academically. Even my three year old comes home with his journal beaming with pride as he shows me the work he has done. I am incredibly thankful for this school!

I am so happy I have found this school for my 2 year old daughter!! AAIMS Montessori school is an excellent school! My daughter is always so happy and eager to go to school. I’ve watched my daughter grow and continues to grow into a very confident little girl. The teachers are very nurturing and dedicated. I can’t thank them enough for providing such great care to my baby!

We can not say enough great things about AAIMS! Our son is now 5 and has been going to AAIMS since he was 16 months old. He has learned so much and has become very social. You can tell how much Nargis and the teachers care about him every time we drop him off and pick him up from school. We loved the school so much we did summer school there too each year. We are going to be sad to leave AAIMS but thankful for everything our son has learned while going there.

Being a first time mom, I did not want to leave my child with anyone as I was returning to work. I toured many childcare facilities and left crying because it just didn't feel right. Most were loud, chaotic, and had many children especially in the infant room. When I toured AAIMS I left feeling that my son would receive the attention and care I would give him. The low ratios in the classroom especially the infant room made me feel that his needs would be met, allowed him to explore and learn, and provide cuddle time. My son was able to transfer to the toddler room based on his level and not just at a particular age. In the toddler room he was able to learn so many things that I don't feel he would have learned at a regular daycare (ie. by 2 he could count to 11, knows many of his colors, learned about the continents, and so much more). Every morning all of the teachers (not just his own classroom) greeted him with a warm welcome and smile. AAIMS provides a calm environment that allows the children to explore and learn.

I have two children who attend AAIMS (one toddler, one GA Pre-K). I have been extremely impressed with the school, and I am so thankful that my children are able to attend.

The biggest factor for me is TRUST. I trust that the director, assistant director, and teachers keep my children safe and that they truly care for the well-being of my children. Part of this is knowing that they enforce policies to hold parents and teachers accountable so all children are provided a stable and safe learning environment. I like that the responsibilities of all adults are clearly defined to minimize confusion, which allows optimal time for children to learn and grow.

I also trust that they provide an academically stimulating environment. I love that the activities my children engage in are educational, creative, and exploratory. My 4 year old came home the other day and set up rocks, a plastic hammer, plastic tweezers, and a magnifying glass (all things he found around our house) on the kitchen table and asked if I’d make observations with him. He also enjoys writing words now (which was a struggle before) and he confidently sounds words out on his own without prompting from me. Even my two year old has learned so much. After four days he came home knowing ten colors and with increased verbal skills. He also has an increased curiosity and shows greater self-discipline as he puts one toy away before getting out another.

Overall, I have been very pleased with AAIMS, and my children are genuinely excited about going to school. I wish I had found this school earlier because both of my children have flourished over the past month, and I can’t imagine how much they would have learned and grown if I had enrolled them at AAIMS last year.

Our first child attended AAIMS for 4 and a half years several years ago and we had wonderful experiences with the school environment, curriculum and teachers. She had a great foundation on education, daily manners, etc and her transition to a public school was very smooth. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers at AAIMS for their dedicated teaching, she has been in a gifted class since kindergarten. As a working mom, I can not imagine my life without AAIMS, a school and loving place for my child where I know for sure that my kid is in great hands when I am not with her. She still attends summer camp every year. We now have the second child and , of course, she is in AAIMS too. They enjoyed very much being in the same school last summer during the summer camp. We will look forward to several more wonderful years that my second child will have at AAIMS.

If you are looking for a sugar coated biased review this is not one of them. This is an honest review from a parent who has been at AAIMS for 4 years with 2 different children. My oldest child started in the toddler room and went through pre-k. My youngest is in the toddler room currently. I want to start by addressing people that personally attack Nargis. It’s fairly unfounded. Nargis is super direct and can often be misinterpreted because of this. She is very no nonsense running the school. This includes having some strict rules for drop offs and pick ups. She does not allow parents to interrupt classes or linger causing children to be upset and cry as well as disturbing the other students. Elementary schools are run the same. The bottom line is that she would never let anything negative happen to one of our kids. She feeds nutritious food and does not allow parents to bring sugary foods in which I so appreciate. She provides tons of activities that both of my kids love, especially during the summer. They have a garden outside that the older children tend to. My oldest LOVED that garden when he was there.They teach skills like dressing with their jackets and cleaning up their meal trays. They sing and read everyday as well as Montessori activities. They have Spanish and The option to enroll in Playball for the children. They have 3 playgrounds for different ages. They are big enough for the children to enjoy but small enough for the teachers to sit and safely watch. They are also fenced. The younger children have bathrooms right in the classroom for those hold it to the last minute kiddos. I love the teachers here’s in every single grade. They are kind and loving. I cannot say enough about what patience they have. They assist in helping the kiddos with potty training and I have never had either child come home with a rash from sitting in a soiled diaper. I want to say if there was a problem here I would know. I keep myself involved and I am diligent about what goes on. My children are the type that would alert me immediately if ANYTHING was off. They offer optional karate and ballet and I love seeing the students show off their skills at the holiday party for families. The assistant Amryn is such a sweetheart and has her sweet little dog there some days which is a super treat for the kids and also allowed by the state. My sons class just got a pet fish and he loves it. The tuition is fairly priced for everything provided. Nargis has worked with me in many areas of my Childrens well being and is always open to talk if you have a concern. If she feels a child’s behavior is concerning she will tell you which we don’t always want to hear. Because of her we were able to help my oldest with some behavior outbursts and he is excelling now in kindergarten. So that is the real behind the scenes look at AAIMS.

A.A.I.M.S. is an amazing school! They have the best teachers that strive everyday to teach, guide and direct the children and to prepare them for pre school classes/ kindergarten. This school teaches the children where they are on the learning scale and helps them grow and learn to love learning. My son comes home every day telling me about all of the new things he is learning like math and geography. They do a fabulous job teaching them about new cultures and celebrating holidays and birthdays.
The food is healthy and good for the children. My son loves knowing what he is going to have for lunch and snack everyday. The school goes above and beyond to bring experiences in for the children to learn from.
The owner does an amazing job communicating with the parents, keeping the morning drop off and afternoon pick up running smoothly. They also post pictures of the children on the school Facebook page so you can see what your child is doing at school. They also take lots of professional photos of the kids if parents or family members want to buy them. This is not just a business or a job for the people at A.A.I.M.S but a calling to love and teach children. This school is a God send for my son and my family. We have been so pleased that we are enrolling my second son into the preschool program for Fall of 2017. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!

Love teacher and director, and have entrusted them with both of my kids for several years.I have so much confidence in the Montessori approach and have seen the results in my children. We originally had my eldest in a different Montessori school and withdrew him due to the fact there was zero warmth between the teachers and students, and are so happy we discovered AAIMS as a result.

Our son is almost 21 months and he started at AAIMS when he was 16 months. He was always at home with family so we were worried he would not adapt well at school but we put our trust with AAIMS and we could not be happier. Our son loves going to school and he learns so much everyday! Now when we go to social events he is more independent and loves playing with everyone. AAIMS has helped him socially and emotionally as well as intellectually. Nargis and the teachers at AAIMS are great with him and approach any of our questions immediately. We love seeing the pictures and videos they post on Facebook so we can see how our son is doing. We are very happy with AAIMS!

My daughter is new to this school and after the first week her expression has impressed me. I have never been so happy that she is happy. She is only 2 but just the excitement on her face when she gets to AAIMS is wonderful. It makes my heart melt. My daughter comes ready to learn. Excited because she is making new friends. It's awesome. I would love to see her grow with the school. They learn so much. School is for education and that's what she is getting. I love it.

My son has been at AAIMS for almost 5 years. I am dreading the day that he will outgrow the AAIMS program.
I have never had a qualm about leaving him in the hands of the school. I know that they treat each child like they are their own.
The learning is out of this world. What he has learned about other countries and their cultures and their foods is amazing. We went to a hibachi restaurant one night and my husband asked if I would like to split some sushi. Our son pipes up and says I want some. The entire table was looking at him. We said you don't eat sushi. Oh yes I do he replied. I tried it at school when we were studying Asia. The sushi arrived and he at an entire piece. The entire table was amazed. It is because of this that my son will try about anything you put in front of him because he has learned this at school.
I can not begin to tell you how awesome your experience at AAIMS will be. Do your child a favor and enroll them now!!

I had the wonderful opportunity to have a tour and visit of AAIMS Montessori School with my 6 and 4 year old last year. I was completely blown away! Not only with the staff and facility itself, but with the beautiful manner in which they all interacted with each other.
AAIMS clearly offers everything that aligns with the philosophy of Montessori education but so much more. The children possess independence and freedom within their own limits. I observed that the students and teachers have a very high level of mutual respect for each other. I found myself smiling when I noticed a child doing something they knew they weren t supposed to be doing which had to be addressed. It was done in a very thoughtful, peaceful, and ultimately effective way! I had never seen anything like this before - everyone addressing each other in a calm manner. To the point that it made me wonder if I adopted these techniques at home, how much more receptive my children would be when there was a need to correct them?
AAIMS demonstrates the ability to effectively discipline in a very calm yet assertive manner without voice-raising, yelling and definitely no meltdowns! I am so thankful for the opportunity to visit and observe for an extended period of time. The teachers treated the students as if they were their own children - they do an amazing job of challenging and encouraging them, but most of all celebrating their accomplishments and milestones.
I couldn t be more impressed with AAIMS. What a top-notch program! Hats off to the owner and to her wonderful team.

AAIMS is the absolute best!! My oldest son has been going to AAIMS for almost three years now. He has transitioned from the infant room to the toddler room and now he is in the primary class. He has gotten the best instruction through all stages of his development. Nargis is wonderful and truly loves my kids, which makes leaving them so much easier. I would absolutely recommend this school.
