I was saddened to find out later how the owner truly felt about my children. I thought she cared for them. To find out she would place smiley faces and exclamation points near my children's names on the day they were not attending was disheartening. Through a mutual friend I spoke with a former employee, she informed me how badly Jody would talk about my kids. The former employee also said working for Jody was unpleasant to say the least. I now question all the positive things she or the staff ever said. I understand my children are/were hard, I was and am more than willing to adjust things if needed. I would rather she told me the struggles instead of treating my children so poorly and dreading the days they were there. I would have gladly relieved her of the stress! I feel horrible knowing I left my children in that environment for as long as I did. I’m sure this is not the case with “normal” children and there are a lot of good things about the center. However if your child needs extra emotional support or has special dietary needs I would not recommend A To Z.
